Years ago - Uncle Ray Ray said that his nephew was going to Baton Rouge to straighten out the Tigers QB position. His name was Jamarcus Russell.Lets hope papa Underwood knows somethimg about his sons recruitment!

With everything that has happened recently(Michigan issues, LSU visiting) it seems he has reaffirmed he will be announcing his commitment on Jan. 6

It doesn’t matter. Very little happened to us with the NCAA and Title IX, but the negativity before it’s resolved is still a problem and other schools use it to their advantage.
The same will happen with Michigan. The negativity of their current issues and Harbaugh’s suspension with all of the bad press around their current cheating scandal is a problem for them today. It will likely end in very little real punishment, but that doesn’t matter right now. If you are in a neck and neck battle, you cash in on the negativity to gain an advantage. The same can be said for the constant rumors of Harbaugh leaving for the NFL.

Coach Sloan has been on him and George MacIntyre from day 1. Those guys are option 1 and 1A in no particular order. LSU would be thrilled with either.
Parents have visited with him on multiple visits which included their wedding anniversary and the Mom's birthday.
Believed to be a two horse race with LSU and Michigan.
Interesting that Harbaugh got the extension today.
Pretty cool that when he camped that LSU opened up Tiger Stadium to finish out the camp that he was apart of for the first time ever

Yea, I’ve watched some 7v7 tapes on him. Some in game stuff too. Kid is the real deal.

Maybe it’s just the cynic in me, but it’s hard for me to really buy in to something like this when the second line of the tweet says something like “NOWS THE TIME TO GO TO TIGERBAIT PREMIUM FOR $1”

Oh, there is an order. Underwood is 1A. There is a drop off from Underwood to MacIntyre.
Underwood is a special talent. I'm convinced he will win a Heisman if he chooses LSU.

In 2025 Nuss is gone. We would then have the current Freshman on the roster, the 2024 QB who I understand we are really high on, and this 2025 gentleman.
Looks like we are breaking in another QB, post Nuss, in 2025 and thus the competition looks wide open on paper.
