Regardless of the confidence meter, the fact that the CB is coming from an Iowa Hawkeyes insider is encouraging to me, since Fidone is in their backyard.

Iowa shells out quality TEs pretty frequently.....and this is an Iowa insider predicting a local kid to LSU....and several LSU mods put Fidone in their class prediction...

So lots of smoke

With a level 2 confidence out of 10, let's pump the brakes

IT doesn’t matter the confidence factor. The fact that an Iowa 247 guy CB him to LSU says something

Again it's a confidence factor of 2 out of TEN, it's a total stab in the dark for now is what that means, I wouldnt get excited about something like that.

This is why they added in confidence ratings to the CB picks, preivously everyone just thought a CB pick was "OMG OMG OMG THEY PUTA CB IN FOR xyz"

Now you need to pay attention to the confidence itself. A 2/10 is again just a total shot in the dark.

Iowa is basically TE-U right now

If they can pull an elite TE out of Iowa, that’s incredible

We said something that doesn't pump 100% sunshine so it won't get liked. But if he felt strong he would at least go 5-7.

I wasnt saying "We got him!!!!"

Just saying if he went to the trouble of CB'ing Fidone to LSU at all....thats a good sign, regardless of confidence.
Basically saying 50/50 but he'd go LSU on coin toss

The whole idea of the new confidence system is to get them to put in more CB's, so you are seeing a lot more CB's than you would have otherwise. Not saying NOTHING is there, but a confidence level of 2/10 literally means it's stab in the dark based on no real info, so it's really not much to get excited over. He probably just sees how hard our staff is recruiting him and is putting in a very early pick with super low confidence as a result.

Yeah I understand. I was excited but calmed down when I saw the 2 on the confidence meter. Y'all are all right it's great an Iowa insider put in a CB pick. Just seeing that low confidence was like "well he's just trying to stir the pot some" to me.

sports composite has it 71% Nebraska. Council Bluff (Omaha suburb really) is only about 45 miles from Lincoln.

He put the 2 on it saying if he goes through with his visits like he intends to that LSU will likely surpass Michigan and Nebraska.

That guy also went on the LSU 247 site saying he's been to Iowa and Nebraska numerous times and still hasn't committed, so he believes a visit to LSU could be the turning point and too enticing for a Midwestern kid to pass up

If you look at how the TE was used in our offense last year, IDK how you don't want to come be part of that.

Every TE secretly wants to be a WR.

The fact that we line our out wide so often is huge.

Just wait until Gilbert gets out there. That's a 6'6" guy running routes like a wide receiver

Some mods from TOS have included him in their class predictions multiple times already... Not saying that means we get him or anything, just that we're probably in it more than people think
