How in one weekend did we go from being the favorites for Thomas, Brooks, Sopsher, Lee, Palmer, and Emery to now being shaky at best to sign any of them?

When we had 3rd highest class and people were thinking we are going to pull all these other big names, makes me think that alot of posters forget what happens every year in recruiting....
Some people need to get their head outta their butts and quit dreaming so much. We got 3 programs now pulling LA talent. Until we win more games or get ridda O, don't expect to compete with UGA or Bama in recruiting

Every school negative recruits us. We win 10 games with that schedule and stay in it with the others. I think we will be ok. Bad season we lose all the high recruits. And we will be by looking for a new athletic director and head coach.

Sopsher - Don't expect him at LSU unless his brother comes along with him. The word is that he would consider Bama without his brother though. He's also apparently starting to take a closer look at Georgia.
Lee and Palmer are NOT done deals like previously reported. Especially Lee. O has not made nearly as much progress in Amite as previously reported.
I was also told that if Thomas decommits, expect one and possibly two highly rated recruits currently committed to decommit with him.
I also asked about the mysterious 5 star offensive tackle that could possibly be decommitting and committing to LSU instead. According to my source, it's simply not true. I asked about three different players in particular, and while LSU is still recruiting them hard, each player has showed no signs of budging.

If this guy had any real sauces he’d be bringing info to the board regularly. And not just show up when it’s convenient.

I think our staff gets played by recruits more than any other staff. Even the 247 mods and insiders are fed bad info and one insider gets his info from our Ed O himself. What does that tell you?

If we don't land the big fish in 2019 there is ZERO point to keeping Coach O. Only reason I was ok with him sticking around is I didn't want to frick up the 2019 class.
