The validity of paid Recruting services...
it's a pastime and a hobby for these people on here. They get sucked up into believing that some website with an 'insider' (who knows jack shite by the way) is somehow going to give them some kind of information that 99% of people can't get by doing a simple Google search or reading a free message board.

Don't mean to knight for the services but I will say this. Again.

Frank Wilson and staff thought that speedy and Willis were ours. Kids lie. The services provide information given to then that most wouldn't have access to. A recruit will tell an LSU reporter what they want to hear. And say, A&M reporter what they want to hear. The service takes info from all angles and researches it to what they share with us. Don't get pissed at them or the coaches bc kids lie. That's ignorant.

Not pissed. I don't subscribe.

I don't think questioning the validity of the infrormation they provide is being ignorant. Of course kids lie. Thursday made that blatantly obvious.

But I thought that fine young men didn't lie to nice respectable men like Frank...neither Frank nor the fans deserved that sort of treatment...this board has bent over backwards to welcome them into the LSU family...I just keep wondering why so much deceit on their part...WHy?

Sure they do. It's a crap shoot.

These kids probably tell a half dozen coaches and "insiders" they are going to commit. It's entertainment, but nothing more.

I dont find that to be true

bad information is not good for business.

The main point is kids change there mind. And sometimes sources arent as strong as they may think.

Im kind of shocked at how many people are hating. This board wouldnt exist without the info gained from these sites. Because no one here has any solid information.

they are kids

OMG these are not fricking kids. They are 18 and 19 year olds. That is not a fricking kid. Most are immature from not being raised right so they are looked at as kids when in no sense of the word are they at all.

Think about it this way, would your father let you do half the shite these kids do for attention? If the answer is no then you were raised properly and these kids were not.

No, no they did not. Is that you Scarborough?

Mike was asked straight up if there was any truth to Tony Brown to Alabama and he said no, "it's LSU".

He also said Willis was all LSU and Speedy was the only one that LSU might miss out on.

The prediction from Tigerbait was 5/5 or potentially 4/5.

You guys are failing to make a distinction between a wrong prediction and faulty source information. In this case, LSU sources (staffers) got it wrong because they were misled. To pillory Scarborough over this is not to understand exactly what happened.

I know the difference....I'm replying to what was stated above...Tigerbait predicted and got it wrong...Nothing else matters. Kids lie..etc...Doesn't mean TB got their prediction right.

Guys please remember that real insiders don't give away the trust of the people that allow them inside anyway! You never see people that really have direct and personal contact with individuals divulge any true info because that would betray the actual trust that person has bestowed upon them. Every player understands that coaches lie to them everyday for their own selfish reasons and their parents know that too. So why would they tell the coaches or any reporter the truth when they too are being lied too?

In this case, they didn't really predict as much as report. What they reported was wrong, as what usually happens when your sources-LSU coaches-are wrong.

I was only stating the facts for the guy that claimed Tigerbait got it right.

My biggest problem with Tigerbait is that their message boards are dominated by insufferable assholes, not Mike Scarborough or his staff.

Will Weathers is a good writer.

Funny how people are so upset because they think some kids lied. Even though we really don't know what happened. Also Coaches lie to kids all the time, I don't see an uproar about that.

Others reported the same exact thing...So no, TB didn't get it right and others wrong..they all reported the same thing.
