Nah it won't. If other schools can have guys that play great, who've barely played at all or redshirted any year/years prior, then it's high time we can as well. Hell, you have true freshman who ball out like Kaaya, Watson, Hackenberg, Goff, O'Korn, Webb, all in the last 2 years. Then you have redshirts like Hundley, Winston, Manziel, Solomon, Barrett, Mariota, Lamb, all in the last three years. Times, they r' a changin'.

Auburn is his only tough opponent his first 5 games and even then we are at home. MSU loses 9 off a defense that he torched last year, and none of the other teams are worth discussing. Guy should be ready to go by USCe.

This is what I'm trying to say.

If people look past their hatred of Miles they will see sometimes other people are to blame.

The table is also set for us to run the ball 60+ times a game in case a QB doesn't develop

Tough to gain experience when you can't beat out Anthony Jennings.

That's Harris's first hurdle - proving he's the man for the job. Whichever QB earns the spot, we definitely have the other pieces in place. At every offensive position - especially O-line and RB.

Next season could be great or could be over before the first snap. It really depends on what we get from the QB position.

If Harris starts, let's hope he quickly finds a rhythm after receiving no quality time last season.

If Jennings starts, sell your tickets early while you still can because we'll be looking at another five losses.

It's unfortunate that the ONE position we're usually weak at, is the most important position on the field. We REALLY need to figure out how to recruit and/or develop and/or use our QBs.

We have a million NFL players from our past rosters at almost every position...but can't get quality QB play.

Les, Cam and our QBs need to step up their game because we have the pieces in place to make this a great offense. It's really on all of their heads if we don't produce this next season.

What's different from a 3 step drop after a taking a snap out of the shotgun and a 3 step drop from under center? Watching his game film from high school a lot of the times he looks just like a pocket passer. why is that so hard to translate to now?

bullshite. You gain experience, confidence and maturity through repetition and practice as well as game play.

Your knee-jerk slight of the coaching staff is disgusting.

Brandon's problem is between his ears. Sure you can look great and be great in High School where you are more equal with your peers but when you step into the next level the MATURITY level has to improve at or better than the physical skills. It is up to BRANDON to THINK he is better than his competition and then perform at that high level. Until he grasps that maturity he will continue to stand in the shadow of the QB that is on the field and squander HIS opportunity to shine. I hope the light goes on this spring and he shows his REAL talent. GEAUX TIGER

Exactly! Coaches at this level start the players, in the staff's opinion, who afford them the best chance of being successful. If that's Harris, he will start. Hell, he already started as a tr. Fr. Why would anyone think the staff wouldn't start him again if he proves himself?

It's all up to Harris. He needs to be busting his arse to learn the LSU system, in the weight room, and in class. The only thing that will hold Harris back is Harris.

If so, then mark your calendars for late November. That will be the time LSU will be looking for win #6 just to be bowl eligible.

Posted by JWill409 Harris needs to get his arse in the film room. I have a relative that knows Oregeron and BDP very well from his time at Northwestern St., and he is non existent in the film room in the offseason from what I've heard. Jennings on the other hand lives there. Crazy, I know. I hope I hear a different story the next time we communicate.

I hope you are talking about last year and not now. He better be in the film room and realize that nothing is going to be handed to him. If he doesn't flat out beat Jennings, put in the work to gain some weight, and know the playbook better than he knows himself, I have no hope. Technique can be improved over time, but work ethic is something he should have, and by now he should know what it takes to succeed at the QB position and what's expected of him.

BH will be emotionally mature enough to handle the role beginning the season vs where he was last year vs Wisconsin. He shite his pants vs Wisky and the stain stuck on him all year. Les couldn't get passed it. Throwing him out there vs AU exposed the weakness again.

I think he'll be ready and look for him to go off in the spring game.

If he's of the mindset that someone has to allow him to do anything, then he'll be a loser for the rest of his life.

He needs to be a man and take the job. I have no doubt that everyone on the staff wants him to do just that. But they aren't going to hand him shite.
