The Opening in NO showed the top players for sure. Baskerville out of Evangle showing that he is underrated at a 3 star. Marshall and Rodgers hopefully are top priority.

They said Baskerville looked real good. And LSU is making a push for 2019 QB Grant Gunnell, they may be in the lead after his recent visit.
Nelson Jenkins looked good at the Under Armor camp in Houston.

Marshall showed up in LSU gloves, so hopefully it's a sign.

I've added info in the "mega" thread I'm trying to start.

Baskerville is a player. One of those guys that you see all over the place when you watch video

I said this yesterday about our so called 3* guys especially Baskerville and Washington, but Clark and Moore also look to be bad arse so called 3* guys and I was told I'm the least knowledgable guy on here by none other than the recruiting guru himself Rickdaddy POS. Of course it isn't just coming from me lmao I've heard this over and over by many people about these 4 guys. These guys will be players no matter their ranking and it's painfully obvious when you watch them. Get em O

Clark isn't a three star. They will all be moving up in rankings the more they camp.

This is the closest thing to "results" you will find. Usually the opening website has them up a couple days after the event.

My point is they are all big time players which is why we offered in the first place. I'm fairly certain that all these guys will move up but if they don't that doesn't mean that they aren't great players. Now there may be some guys that you might think will project then they get lazy or something happens but you can always give that scholly to another guy if that's the case. There isn't anyone that would hold that against you besides maybe that guy and his parents. My point was if LSU were to fill its roster with players like these 4 LSU will be just fine. Of course LSU is going to land big names as well but it's ok to land these not so popular names especially this year and it being this early. Washington and Baskersville have some of the best instincts I've seen from any of our current commits. They are football players and I like that. You can tell they just love playing ball.

Isn't this the guy whose brother just walked on at A&M?

Baskerville is about to shoot up the rankings, especially with how he performed at Nola opening and getting the Finals invite.
I knew what you were saying man, I was just pointing out that our players are already on the rise. Clark was pegged one of the best linebackers at the AAA camp by steve wiltfong. These guys are going to keep climbing, I trust Orgeron and Aranda to evaluate talent.

Which was my original point when I was told by the genius sassy Rickdaddy that I was the least knowledgable person here.
I mean I don't do this for a living or know people in the "know" but I do come here often and I watch these recruits film myself. I also know football like most good people here, and I can come up with the conclusion that this staff is doing its homework especially on the Louisiana guys which is what you want. Get these guys in and committed fill some depth issues so later you can hunker down on the big names and really focus on certain players. This way you already have momentum and depth issues addressed then you can stack it up at the end. IMO Louisiana has tons of guys under the radar every year, why because we don't have huge media outlets here covering all these schools like FL, Atlanta, ect.
If I'm Ed O, just starting but can't compete with Bama just yet because of on the field results and negetive recruiting then my next option is to out work everyone else for the under the radar kids that are ballers but don't have big names yet. Get as many as you can until the big time guys come knocking and they will. I'm not saying we can't get them but we aren't on that level yet, it just doesn't happen that way. You have to prove yourself and he's going to do that soon but in the mean time you still have to recruit at a high level and get football players to come in and compete with the big boys. These media sites are lazy, they can't spot talent like our staff can.

I just watched Baskerville's highlights. His instincts are off the charts and he hits violently. I love that we're bringing in all these thumpers to patrol the middle.
