Mainly due to seeing the kid want to commit to lsu (saying tigers during commitment), and partly because he could have helped make this defense elite under house. But let us not forget what lsu and house we’re able to able to do this year with first year transfers from much smaller schools. Now the guys who are returning have another offseason to develop. We have true defensive line depth now so as to allow rotation. And the problem that has plagued lsu for as long as I can remember (offensive line depth) is completely handled. It would have been great to have ricks, but we need to understand what was accomplished this year, and what is being built. I am very confident in the future of our Tigers.

Changed subject due to people only reading subject and arriving at conclusion.

It is but I’m glad CBK didn’t play the bid war.

Did you read the rest of my post. I am pointing out how there is so much more to be confident about moving forward.

Well whatever term you choose to describe him not coming to lsu, go with that.

It’s honestly not depressing at all. LSU will be fine and we don’t need kids who aren’t fully committed to rebuilding the program where it needs to be. It’s not for everybody. Ricks may end up in the portal like Adam Anderson next year who knows.

One thing I do know is LSU has no trouble finding talented kids that want to be here. We’ve survived bigger losses.

It’s almost like breaking up with your girlfriend that is a 9 then you start going out with a 10 with us getting Harris

I read your post and get your point, but ricks is a man now and made his decisions for his reasons. If he’s not happy with it he needs to do what’s best to make him happy.

I’m not going to get depressed or feel sorry for a guy getting the opportunity of a lifetime and God knows how much money to go to alabama.

Exactly. The future is incredibly bright. Our offensive line is going to negate any defensive line we play. By the third quarter the defensive linemen will have their hands on their hips and asking to come out of the game.

Harris is a 10 in ability, but let’s not act like there is zero risk. If Bahnsen was still here I doubt Harris makes it past summer workouts.

I read the whole thing. It’s a Ricks thread, on Christmas, that you tried to camouflage with other positives.

Let’s all just move on together. Merry Christmas

I like the staffs formula for recruiting. This program is attractive to quality players in the portal. As they keep bringing in top 5 High School classes, along with quality portal signees, a machine will develop. Imagine 3 years, similar (or better) to this year (recruiting wise).
