Hey genius Dalton Hilliard played 2A high school ball and as I remember he was pretty OK.

Nah! But I value Orgeron's opinion over a poster's.

Seems like other SEC head coaches are doubting him as well. His best scholarship offers outside LSU are Colorado and Virginia

Yes and the only other offer Justin Jefferson got was Nichols State. Sounds like Bordelon is more highly thought of than Jefferson.

What a maroon

Do you think bo bordelon would have an offer of his name wasn't bordelon?

I don’t normally watch highlights of players that are outside the Lafayette area because that’s the area I cover for the newspaper.

I just reviewed his highlights. I’ve never seen him in person, but his footage is pretty damn impressive.

For people making the argument that he did it he vs 2A competition….Some of those same people were on the Keon Coleman bandwagon, and he was doing it against 1A competition.

Of course, I’m referring to Lester, and he also used that other argument against Jack Bech. The argument that big schools weren’t offering him.

I agree with the people who say other programs aren’t going to recruit a guy who is a guaranteed lock to a certain school.

This kid has as close a tie to LSU as you can get.

Quintessential Louisiana. A rich guy paying for his son to get a football scholarship to LSU. Every one knows if this kid comes from a different family, he's playing for a lower tier P5 school at best. Can't wait to see him waive a towel on the sidelines for 5 years.

Can't wait for you to be wetting your panties trying to excuse your complete lack of football acumen and feable excuses for being wrong about this kid whom you have NEVER SEEN PLAY ONE DOWN OF FOOTBALL AT LSU.

You clairvoyant by any chance?

I just think they would've waited to see him his senior year if his name wasn't bordelon.

His build is fine. He just lunges forward in pass protection.

He is rated where he should be rated.

Wow amazing anecdotal evidence. So let's take a 2* every year then in hopes he'll be the next Jefferson!!

I agree with all said, but don’t dog out Will C, our 5* OT to make a point. Bo will start at LSU he does have all the tools, plus will probably grow another inch or inch 1/2 over the next couple years. I’m with you, but don’t sht on the family to help out one of the brothers.

I mean I pretty much said verbatim about Jack was that he’d play himself into much bigger offers. You just get up in your feelings too much to even comprehend that.

That’s not really the argument. The talking point is he got embarrassed against other SEC caliber players at camp, the same way Lucas Taylor did (who was processed). Did you review that film? Did you see Fitzgerald West completely stone the same players?

I don’t really care about a players class. At all. But when you are put head up against your peers (ie high P5 players) and can’t hold your own, don’t go telling me to watch his film against country day. I don’t need to see that

What's amazing is you trying to convince people here that they should rely on YOUR vast knowledge of football over coaches at LSU who are actual coaches who get to see videos, meet, test physically and judge with years of coaching at LSU and elsewhere.

I think I will stick with the opinions of O and his staff over your opinion.

Do we have to list all of the kids that the coaches whiff on every year? Only 50-60% of the kids we sign end up being contributors. Not to mention the slew of kids they evaluate, pass on, and end up being great players.

LSU did miss on not recruiting an in-state offensive lineman last year.

So once again are you clairvoyant? You KNOW Bordelon was a bad get? You KNOW more than the coaches? Judging the way YOU think we shouldn't have taken Justin Jefferson.

How do I think? Jefferson was a last minute add and we had a spot open. I had no issue with that.

You're just a sycophant who acts as tho the coaches are infallable and it's impossible someone could have a differing assessment that proves to be better than the coach's.

You have to realize LSU only likes to give out offers after seeing kids at camp

It’s why Jefferson was taken. He was the best WR at their camp by far

It’s why Fitzgerald west was offered

It was also why Lucas Taylor & Marcus Scott had offers pulled.

Bordelon has a premature offer because of his name. It’s fine. I get it. But you guys are trying to talk yourself into something different here

I think the interesting part of this is the fact that Borderlon’s brother is going to be a freshman this year at Newman and start at the other tackle position. He’s rumored to be around 6’4 230 already, and if that’s true, you have to imagine he’s going to be a big time recruit. You don’t want to upset the family by not giving him a shot. I think taking a chance on Bo, and the fact that he won’t transfer if he gets buried on the depth chart early in his career, plus the good bloodlines, makes him a take. Maybe you explore the option of a blue shirt/grey shirt (not quite sure what the difference is) if there’s a spot you need to open. But he’s at a position of need and maybe a plan B if Fitzgerald West can’t snap the ball consistently.

I think it’s obvious the Bordelon has some dog in him. He is going to be a helluva player for the Tigers and will be a positive influence in the locker room.

Some are saying his last name brings great influence when in reality it brings great expectations. His father was a good player that worked himself into a All-Conference and NFL career. I think you can expect the same determination from his son.
