I’m still confused.
I think Bjorn says no one will be added until after spring because enrollment was Tuesday.
If so, that’s some bullshite on walkers timing.

Not sure losing one of the highest ranked QB recruits in LSU history is equivalent of some 3rd string LB depth.

LSU already has spots open this doesn't really impact that other than they just have another opening come spring time.

Anyone in the portal can be added at any time. Pretty sure Jayden transferred in March and participated in spring

Howard didn’t want to be here to compete and having 3 scholarship QB’s on a roster is really all most teams usually have or need. LSU will have 3. If you get down to the third string, it’s pretty bad to begin with. Walker wasn’t ready to start and he will now go somewhere else to get either backup or starting reps. LSU needs to sure up its LB position for this defense to be complete. Howard was a 5 star QB on paper. He has yet to prove that on the field. I am not saying he wasn’t worthy of it but there have been many 5 star QB’s who were bust in college.

Logical, he’s likely seen the writing on the wall, Daniels returning, Nussmeier with breakouts versus Purdue and Georgia, and incoming high end four to five star, in Hurley. Could be beneficial for both parties to simply move on, Howard at least became a Tiger, rather than leaving The Boot out of high school. He gave LSU that, even after a turnover, so credit to him on that, let’s see how he does wherever he heads to. Best of luck to the kid.

Next Tuesday is when school starts. Then you can still late enroll for a few days after that.
I never said no one would be added. I said time was running out and that, barring a last minute addition, it was likely that LSU was done until after spring.
LSU could still take transfers, but they couldn’t enroll until summer unless they enroll in the next 10 days or so.

Jayden was a rare situation. He was a grad transfer that got into a grad program that allowed mid-semester entry. I’ve never seen that happen before.
Certainly any player can commit to any school when they want, but 99.999 percent will still be tied to the semester enrollment schedule, thus won’t actually be on the team until summer school.

How would you know that? We have very little insight on the inner workings of the program.
