Ugh. I don’t get why LA recruits would consider that underachieving program over LSU.

First, it would be ridiculous for such a highly-ranked LA recruit to leave the state, especially for Texas.

Secondly, why is a Bama247 reporter a Texas Insider?

Texas is paying everyone right now to go there, we can't compete NIL wise with them. So if that's a priority for a recruit we aren't going to beat them out there.

That being said losing our DL coach who has a long term relationship with McKinley is a backbreaker potentially for now, plenty to go still before signing day.

It seems like this is starting to get like Sedrick Van Pran from what all the Texas sides are reporting.

Texas must be outpaying the Aggies as well
Let Texas go 500 this year and we can bring the LA boys home

LSU just might not be as strong of a recruiting machine in certain areas with the coaches we have.

We know they can recruit OL and TE to the max, DT have been lacking

well he feels good enough to make a pick when no one else has when he is supposedly announcing at the end of the month.

That would suck, offering his little bro may help. Hopefully he's just not hell bent on leaving the state. Didn't seem that way from his interviews.

he's at 77% this year in his predictions. He's just doing it for clicks so LSU fans run over the texas board with all the simmons and durham stuff going on.

The LSU side feels that no matter what McKinley/Mack go until ESD no matter what. Now that's exactly how everyone feels about it for Colin Simmons as well

I agree that this could be for sure seen as to take away from the Simmons to LSU heat

Losing Mack would be okay… grand scheme of things. Losing Mack and McKinley would be unacceptable. This also leads me to believe a little bit harder with Colin Simmons.

If McKinley and Simmons both chose Texas this board will explode

He may be right, but it's hard to believe anything that comes out of people in TX's mouth.
I work at UT and people are straight up delusional about their sports programs.
