LSU is going to have 4 scholarship QBs for the next two years (at least) unless someone leaves. I'd consider other schools with those numbers.

I hope you are right about the numbers but Shep is too talented to sit on the sidelines for long so there is a reasonable shot he moves to WR. IF that happens, we're down to 3 QBs which is too few and we have only 1 frosh QB and proabably every major school in the Country will have at least 1 3 star frosh QB so I don't see Broadway being scared away by Garrett.

If Broadway has dreams of starting as a frosh he should look elsewhere for sure.

How could this kid even be considering any other school? If he's a Baton Rouge native.... their should only be one choice!!!

We could have used your advice a couple years ago.

Broadway would be stupid to go to LSU... I dont know what all the Bama buzz is about but he's going to have alot of other options to play college ball...

The numbers still dont' work in LSU's favor if Shep moves to WR full time. That kind of move won't happen for at least a season if it does (I think he'll be more of Percy Harvin type getting touches at several positions myself). JJ/Lee would be the starter, with Garret a redshirt frosh. It's not a common practice for schools to carry four scholarship QBs for more then a year (especially the same group of QBs). There is a logjam at the position at LSU reguardless of what Shep might do.

I don't view 3 QBs to be a log jam, especially when you consider that we had 3 QBs get hurt this year and each was unable to play for a couple of games. Since you think we now have a log jam, you clearly must think that LSU will not try to sign a QB next year and I disagree. I think we will try to sign a QB despite what position RS may play.

You are stating the obvious. Before the summer arrives most SEC schools will have offered him.

I still can't believe LSU lost out on a Catholic High player. Was Dunn seriously recruiting by LSU or was he an overachieving recruit?

I don't know anything about the situation, but how many recruits that were offered by FSU were not "LSU material"?

Who was the LSU coach back then when Dunn signed with FSU? Maybe that coach thought he was too small? Pretty sure he played QB in high school.

i would bet he wasnt recruited as a QB considering his size. and if Fla St at the time offered, we definitely offered.
