They are not paid for commitments.

They get paid to visit, of course they get paid to commit as well. It’s peanuts compared to signing, but they get paid.

I'd be shocked if LSU didn't land a stud QB in the portal. They will have the money to throw at them and LSU may have 3 recent Heisman QB's.

They absolutely get paid to commit. Ever heard of High School NIL deals with the collective?

Judging from what I saw against FSU, idk if I want many players on that bama team other than RB Jam Miller and WR Ryan Williams

Use Keys $$ to bring in Lagway after Billy gets fired. Billy will have 5 losses when October rolls in.

I know the portal is hit and miss, but after seeing what LSU was able to do this year, it seems foolish to overspend on HS kids.

Give me guys from the 1st and 2nd team all-conference selections in the Big 12, Sunbelt, AAC and a few guys escaping some situations at other Power 4 schools.

You're getting mature 22- or 23-year-old men looking to prove something before going to the NFL. They are motivated and you have really good film on them against known competition.

I would bet that you will get way more bang for your buck paying five of those guys $200k than paying one 5-star HS kid $1 million dollars.
