Eddie Lacy was a take for several reasons.
One he was a big recruit right there near BR and in LA.
Two was that they needed a big RB who would take it to LSU.
Three they knew they could get him qualified and it set up future success stories for Bama and LA recruits.
LSU should have tried taking every recruit we could to stop Bama from having these poaching success stories. If I were that staff there's no way I'm just letting them come into LA and have what they want which is basically what we did for some huge recruits in LA that could have went a long ways in us staying in that race for the top.
Now it's catch up time and now we have the task of trying to hold all that built momentum back. Tough but if LSU keeps at it, we can be successful with it.
I like Pickens and you take a talent like him no matter what. Weapons are weapons. We could use another OT, 3 top flight DLman, another great LB (Dean) and then Strikland to rush from the edge. LSU needs to go all out for this type of closing or something close.

No we aren’t getting him to flip.

You people that make all these predictions and stuff is fine but in recruiting these days after having followed it so long. I am not counting anything until the ink is on the paper.

Bama loves him but is scared he may not get in.
No they don't if they aren't taking him and he wants to go there it is because they just don't want him.
Tell me the last time a Alabama player didn't qualify? It simply does not happen.

You’re right, shut it all down. No sense in talking about any of this, just open the National Signing Day board twice a year and head back to the Rant everyone.

Pickens' Hudl
If he doesn’t learn how to carry the ball, he’ll be a fumbling machine.
