Phillip may be a bit of a douche, but he is a good leader. Hard to hate a guy who played on a fricked up knee like he did.

True...not taking anything away from his play and determination on the field...I just don't like the dude.

maybe we can get Philip rivers In tigerstadium for some star power

I'm glad we got this kid but I pray to God he is not a complete prick like his older brother. Philip Rivers is one of the few stud players in the NFL that I wouldn't draft on my fantasy team even if he was available with the last pick in the draft...

Welcome Mr. Rivers, i like this pickup. But i really like the Ohio kid too. Him or Ely would add to fine 2011 class IMO

That will never happen, for many reasons.

Nah, I'd rather lose $$ than pull for that dude in any capacity. Not that it would ever come to that just saying.

You guys must have never seen Bert Jones play in the NFL ... Rivers plays with the same intensity. Personally, I like to see that kind of arrogance in a QB. In the end, it doesn't matter what the fans think ... the question is, what do his teammates think?

Can't watch the younger's film at work, but Philip's motion, though unorthodox, really gets the job done. He definitely can make all the throws and he release is actually really quick. Still can't stand the prick...
