Please ban yourself. Goodrich would have committed to us Sunday had we let. LSU mismanaged this all the way around. This program has been a joke the last 6 years.

On what fricking planet do you take goodrich before surtain? Y’all stupid motherfrickers reach so damn much to shite on O

Yes, some of the things he does deserves criticism, but frick man, stop trying to spin everything just to fit your agenda...

NO

The whole narrative here before NSD was that as long as Raymond is here, Surtain is a Tiger.. now the POS flipped on us and it’s CEO’s fault?

Comical

Raymond's the only reason we had a shot in hell. PS2 would've never considered LSU if O was his primary.

I like how you lash out at the kid for O's lack of contingency plans.

You gonna blame Corey Raymond. The only consistent recruiter and coach we have. Delusional. Enjoy losing 4 games a year with coach o.

Lmao.. how the frick are you supposed to have a contingency plan, when they assumed the whole time that Surtain was coming? What’d you want them to do? Tell Surtain to GTFO, and sign Goodrich? That’s absolutely asinine

I haven’t blamed anyone.. I just think that the people bashing O for Surtain flipping (or not having a ‘contingency plan’) are wrong

Ok, I agree.
With that said Raymond is the one that got played. O didn't have the relationship.

I would think Michigan's day was much worse. They had two commits who flipped:

quote:

a player ranked higher than any in Michigan’s 2018 class. Reese, a high school teammate of 2017 five-star and current Wolverines defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon at Lee County, had been verbally committed to Michigan since June 2016

quote:

quarterback Kevin Doyle, committed since September, de-committed from the program on Sunday to sign with Arizona.

quote:

When push came to shove Wednesday morning, national signing day and the close of the new wild and wacky recruiting cycle, four-star linebacker Otis Reese and five-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere both decided to sign elsewhere.

The announcement from Petit-Frere (Ohio State) wasn't exactly a big surprise given the attention he commanded over the last year. The No. 1-ranked offensive tackle in the country had every major football program chasing him.

It was still a shot in the gut given the time and effort Michigan put in. The Wolverines were the first to offer the 6-foot-6, 272-pound Petit-Frere a scholarship, back in October of 2015, then set up a shop at his high school, Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida, for the Outback Bowl.

O is the head coach and "ace recruiter"

The lie detector determined, that was a lie.

I noticed that quite a few schools did not sign 25, Including bama.

Saving room next year for all Dem Louisiana Studs.
I hope i'm wrong but if bama beats LSU again and makes the playoff again. LSU finishes 9-4 then it could happen.

Dam you Wayne huizenga and Miami Dolphins

No it doesn't. So they lost out on 2 and we lost out on 1, so the score is 2-1? Are you fricking stupid?

Lest you forget that the "1" we lost on went to Alabama. Now what's the score? And the others they did get were higher rated than ours, and they filled their class. We didn't, and no, it wasn't yaw Yaw's brilliant plan to lose people at the 11th hour so he'd have room for transfers.

And of course, we didn't lose one. We lost more than one. What's the score now?

You don't need an eyeroll. You need supermarket produce shoved up your arse/.

Exactly! It's pretty transparent. Raymond needs a raise - or - Orgeron needs to be fired.

This argument would be untrue when you mention Surtain Jr.. Alabama came in late, but with a job offer to Surtain Sr.

Because Raymond suddenly forgot how to recruit? Because Raymond is the new wrinkle in LSU's football program? No, he's been here a while and has been pretty successful in recruiting CBs. Let's see, what else is different about the program now....
