We did this with fournette so it's not out of the question. I don't see it happening with this situation. There's a limited number of spots in a very good class since we are using two scholly's on a LS and a kicker.

There is unique pressure on Orgeron to land Sophser so I could see him doing it.
Louisiana kid? Check.
Plays Coach O's position on expertise? Check.
Coach O was hired as an "ace recruiter"? Check.
Top 10 overall in the country? Check.
Bama is the favorite? Check.
Orgeron really, really needs this one for his own optics.

Bama isn't the favorite at all actually. I haven't once heard him say bama was the favorite but I did hear him say LSU was recruiting him the hardest and that we were number one at the moment, if I'm not mistaken.
He's staying with LSU and I'll put money on it. If his brother comes or not he'll be in BR. Mark it down sucka.

Not really a ton to say. He, his brother, and their parents were there today, and all got the rock star treatment. Not only did O have both brothers working in drills, but he also had several current DL (Lawrence, Fehoko, etc...) working with Ishmael and showing him how it the lines would look if he came there. O had the full court press on all day with his parents, too. Momma really wants her baby close to home :), and O is working that angle hard. No commitment or anything, but the staff is very pleased with how the day went, and where we sit at the moment.

This kid is Bama all the way. He is just going through the process staying in the limelight, but when it comes down to put his name on the paper, the paper will be the University of Alabama.

Actually, A&M poses the biggest threat. Same has been said for Harris. From our past history with them, I like our chances
