Chavis was at Abbeville High a few weeks ago visiting with Alonzo Williams (DE pictured in the link). I think he is a aTm commit. I'm not sure how high LSU is on this kid, but I'd be willing to bet he'd switch if LSU got serious about him.
Any word on what type of camp he's having?

Yes. I follow sports on this side of the state. That is him. Quinn made first team All-District as a freshman OF at Barbe this spring. I don't know if he is a more of a lean towards football or baseball now? Statistically he had a better football season, but he has the tools to be very good at both. Barbe has to replace Foster at QB, as he is walking on at LSU this fall, so Quinn's stats may drop some this fall.
I went to watch Barbe vs Catholic for a tourney Catholic hosted earlier in year.. if i remember correctly CHS won 4-3, but that Barbe team is gonna be stacked next several years based on underclassmend they had starting.. that game had some pretty impressive talent b/w the two
