No more unjust than a school changing his position coach two months before he is supposed to sign.

Try to look at it from the kid's standpoint.

The guy that talked him into coming wasn't going to be here. The guy LSU said would be his coach isn't going to be his coach.

On top of that Texas had not offered him when he committed to us-just like our situation with Fobbs and Wright.

You are looking at his situation as a hypocritical LSU fan like most on here do.

points taken and agreed with. however, that doesn't solve the problem.

We should only consider game changers from this point on in 2009. Look next year is the year.. Lets not use up all our scholarships when better talent is available in 2010. We should try and recruit 28 players next year. With only 13 seniors, there are going to be some hard decisions. So lets leave a little room.

fine, that was said out of blind retaliation. I would give up a limb to science for just a few pumps with Kate.

Is Hunter's commitment in doubt or what?

Keep in mind the immaturity of young men this age. I dont agree with it, but I can easily see how they caught up in it and commit then change mind/ reflect and go another route. I dont harbor any ill feelings towards them.

I think that LSU's chances with Jarrett Fobbs and James Wright are 60-40, but I do not believe LSU will take commitments from both of the players.

According to Dandy D. I'd rather have Wright if this is the case.

There are a couple of in state guys that seem cool. Eric Thomas, Glen Coleman, and Thomas Bridgewater. I like Martavious Lee too.

Isn't that a phrase that every Scout/Rivals writer uses when a recruit doesn't say anything too meaningful.

If you rate the visit a 7, it can't be that great of a sign for the Gators. He's also no longer listed as a soft verbal on Scout which is another good sign.

That is good to hear. I have always thought that he would stick with his committment if for anything his love of track as well. I remember reading where he was impressed with Miles' candor and the ed center along with the track program. I know a UT guy posted that all track programs are good, but LSU's is elite and has been for years.
