CBS Sports has a recent article that says Michigan is prepared to almost double the $5 million

They need to use that money to find an offensive coaching staff willing to experiment with the forward pass instead of paying someone 10 million to hand it off 40 times a game and throw check downs 80% of the time.

The website On3 initially reported a figure for Underwood may near $5 million, but multiple conversations CBS Sports and 247Sports have had with sources across the industry paint the real number to be something closer to double that (over the course of several seasons). There should be no surprise at the high cost of doing business in the NIL era with a highly-touted prospect.

If I’m LSU I’d tell Michigan I’ve already upped Underwood to 20 million. And they can take any and all money they have and shove it up their arse.

The last 4 plays for Michigan’s offense is why Underwood never considered them. 2 minutes to play down 5 and you throw 3 checkdowns, 2 of which were incomplete and turn it over. QB looked scared out of his mind and like he would rather take the L than be in the spotlight.

So they think Underwood is going to cost around 7 or 8 mil total over 3 years.

This is what BU is having to endure at home...

nce again, the Michigan Wolverines find themselves in a peculiar situation. However, this time it is not related to their performance in the game but rather their relentless pursuit of recruiting Bryce Underwood for their team. Unfortunately, it appears that Sherrone Moore and his team are making no progress in convincing Bryce to join them. As with recent events unfolding, the young quarterback has made his intentions abundantly clear.

Michigan Wolverines and their head coach Sherrone Moore’s desperation to get Belleville’s No. 1 quarterback, Bryce Underwood, is raging day by day. According to CBS Sports, the Wolverines have put together an NIL offer “closer to double” than the $5 million package that was offered to Bryce to flip his commitment from the LSU Tigers. But it looks like Bryce Underwood is not behind the money as he visits the LSU Tigers to face off against Bama. Today Sports Center confirmed this news on X saying, “No. 1 2025 player and LSU QB commit Bryce Underwood is on campus for Alabama-LSU ??”
