Actually, I'm not being an a-hole - this stuff happens all the time in life.
When you want to talk about a recruit's dad, especially when his brother posts here, you're being an a-hole.
And unfortunately, you aren't the only one who has been one the past 2-3 days.

Randle better be the next coming of Julio, cause it sure sounds like he is scared of competition
RR is not scared of competition. one source said he didnt want to be the one to play in front of Deangelo, the reason his friend wasnt getting the ball, and thats why he didnt want to be on the same team.

Cheers, you are a complete dumbass.... Please refrain from thinking or typing... you bring the quality of this board way down.....

I'm not the one who went on PUBLIC RADIO during the DEAD PERIOD.
I think his dad coulda manned up and said his piece on Friday or Saturday or Sunday.... when all the parties could still talk about the issues like mature adults.

Shouldn't that be Benton's decision to make? So according to your "one source," RR (or his dad) told Benton that he doesn't want to limit his playing time, so he's gonna get Miles to pull his schollie (for his own good, of course).
Got it - that's a great way to handle things.

Also, I'm not sure who the wussier one is here:
A) Randles dad or
B) the puss Admin who anchored this thread.
Every day I am more convinced we are a nation of pussies.

Thread was anchored b/c of the title. Way to promote an open board admin.

And BTW, Rocket, I've read dmitch's posts and I would be willing to lay cash that he feels pretty close to the same about the situation as I do.
Dmitch showed some pretty strong character here.

That doesn't mean you gotta talk about him on a message board that thousands of people can read.
Have some self-control.

Irrelevant. You can't control that. What you can control is what you post and if you want to be an a-hole, expect to be called on it.

That doesn't mean he's gonna appreciate you talking about his dad/step-dad regardless.
Do you really feel your post was necessary?
Posted on 2/5/09 at 8:29 am to Rocket
I'm not gonna belabor the point.
Necessary? Who knows... maybe dad reads it, apologizes to his son, learns a little and grows a little.

It's easy for you sit at your computer and talk about what his father should have done.
The bottomline is your post was unnecessary but you wanted to be an a-hole.
Maybe you should learn a little and grow a little.

Fair enough, you think I'm an a-hole, I don't.

don't.
neither do i. the dad may have done what he thought was best for his boy, i would do what i thought was best for my boy.
when dad goes on the radio and makes his comments, i believe he opened the door for his actions to be discussed in an open forum such as this.
for rocket to be critical because it may hurt someone's feelings is weak. it is clear that those with thin skin should stay away from all the tigerdroppings boards.
