I'm sure you'd have preferred Peterson to have stuck w/ Miami too

Same shite we have today, but its called verbal commitment, then signed letter of intent.

Peterson, can or do you read before posting? Myself along with several other Ags have said there is a lot of time before NSD. No one has claimed it to be an in stone unwavering rock solid can't change or in your words "unturnable" commitment. Chill the F out.

The ink is barely dry on yalls killer 2011 class, why not take a few minutes to relish in those "unturnable" commits.

No Aggie is dumb enough to sit here and say it's impossible for LSU to turn a Louisiana recruit.

That being said, I've always had good dealings with Louisiana folk. Except for a couple of piss-ant maritime plaintiff's lawyers, everyone was honest and "all good" to deal with...

I'm simply betting that Phillips and his family weighed the options, made their choice, and will stick by their word. Time will tell!

I'm really hoping this god awful thread doesn't continue for another eleven months. Jesus Christ, it's ten pages of the same crap over and over.

I don't know whether the kid is going to stick with TAM or flip to LSU or what but honestly if i were Coach Sherman or a TAM fan i would definitely be questioning why he visited LSU within hours of commiting to TAM.Maybe he was just personally telling the LSU coaches his intentions but to all of us that are outside the know(which is everyone of us in this case)it would definitely lead you to believe that commitment isn't worth very much.Maybe somebody in the know can better explain this to us that aren't.It just seems awful strange to commit to TAM hours ago and spend the afternoon at LSU's practice.

Alright here's what I know. He doesn't like LSUs defense therefore he doesn't want to go there. The second the coaches at LSU found out he commited they gave him a call and told him to come for a visit. I honestly can't say I wouldn't have taken it if it gave me a day out of school.

Soooooooo he doesn't like a defense that asks a lot of it's LBs, is consistanly in the top 15 nationally and is coached by a guy that makes millions for LBs? He'd rather go to the 55th ranked defense last year? Seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders.

eta: My mind was just put at ease.

Texas A&M COMMITTED (03/17/2011) Offered None Jim Turner
Baylor None Offered None
Indiana None Offered None
LSU None Offered None Frank Wilson Pittsburgh None Offered None

Wrong, and I don't think anyone could not like it watching it decimate A&M in January. That comment is just beyond Fairytail BS.

He was scheduled to be there even before he committed. His teammates will be in BR this weekend. Try again.

FYI Saban is still slighly better than Miles.

Just check the Rivals last 4 yrs.

Bama LSU
2011 1 6
2010 5 6
2009 1 2
2008 1 11

Plus I think Saban had better retention than Miles

Sheadixon Sources tell me that Patterson LB Lorenzo Phillips decommitted from Texas A&M today. He visited the #LSU campus for practice on Thursday.
