He is on leave while they do a so called investigation on the matter. They will do everything they can not to fire him, believe me. LOL

I definitely believe they're trying to do everything possible to retain him. I don't see how they reach any satisfactory resolution that doesn't result in his termination.

Urban Meyer says coaches intentionally lying about violations should be done
frick him and his sanctimonious bullshite.
What a bitch. Zero sympathy, less than that in desire to have him at the helm here.

I'd be interested to see what happens with Jack Miller the 2020 QB. IF, he does indeed end up fired.

If he commits, I hope he likes free BBQ sauce.

So how many Michigan fans do you think bought this shirt before Fanatics sold out and took it off the site?

Urban Meyer Knows

Meyer will get destroyed in the NFL just like every other college coach before him. His arse will be handed to him, what works in college just won't work in the big boys league.

And vice versa

The only time it works going up is if they run their team similar to an NFL team (Carroll, Harbaugh)

After an extensive investigation I expect the ruling to come down that Coach Urban Meyer will be suspended for the first 4 games. On a side note, the first 5 games are:

Sat, Sept 1 vs Oregon State
Sat, Sept 8 vs Rutgers
Sat, Sept 15 vs TCU*
Sat, Sept 22 vs Tulane
Sat, Sept 29 @ Penn State

Everyone seems to have ignored the point of this thread lol. I saw Cain listed OSU in his top 6 but I am uncertain how serious of a player they are. I do not know of any recruits we are going after that OSU is heavily going after as well.

If Urban is fired (which is possible) OSU will be fine. They are one of the few programs in the country that can essentially cherry pick their guy. Any AD worth his salt always has 2-3 guys on his radar and a contingency plan.

Both Carroll and Harbaugh were already NFL guys who know the NFL inside out. Meyer would be just like Chip Kelly, Saban, and Spurrier who were mostly college guys, he would be bounced out of the NFL after a few seasons.

No way Urbs is fired. If he is, we should hire him immediately.

He gone. I seriously don't see any way he keeps his job. They fired Tressel over tattoos but you think they'll keep Meyer after ignoring and lying about a member of his staff beating up his wife for years?

This has nothing to do with anybody being a snowflake. First, beating women, beating your spouse, domestic violence is a crime. If UM knew that his assistant was beating his wife, then he needs to try to stop it or report it. Second, as HC, he has a management level position. If one of the university’s employees is committing crimes, then you owe it to the university to intervene. On a more basic level, a wife-beater is either sick or a low character POS. Either get them help or get them out of your workplace...unless you don’t mind employing violently ill or low character pieces of sh*t.

The ones calling for CUM to come here are the same blasting Alleva for being a dumbass.

The irony.

Alleva is a dumbass, tho.

The #metoo movement will make it hard for him to keep his job. Bad optics
