Stud and lock up in references to recruiting do not go together.

And Ensminger is old and tired. The last thing he wants to do is get in a rented Chevy Malibu and drive out to some kid's house and sit down and talk with Mom.

There's a difference between age and apathy! Cool it with the "OLD" comments - some of us are a bit sensitive!!!

and I'll add to that: Things change.

Diarse may be all Bama right now but it's January 13th of 2012 and he won't be signing until February of 2013.

God only knows what can happen between now and then.

If Coach "I'm a man" and his medicare QB had taken care of business against ISU, he probably would have been tweeting about LSU holding that Nintendo offense to 21 points.

I love the kid's game and the way he lays everything on the line for his team. I hope he will start to have a similar desire to push himself that way for his own state's College Football program.

Egg,
Coming here and downing the staff for decisions that haven't really been made yet is counterproductive (if Diarse or any 2013 recruit is who you are talking about)

Why not stay away for a few days and give yourself time to cool down.

Or take it to The Rant.

My apologies. That was insensitive.

Ensminger is tired and apathetic.

Take it from someone who has followed North Louisiana sports for a long time, the quality of top-level players up here is not very good. If you are specifically talking about the Monroe area, it's even worse. Maybe one LSU level player per year, max. Team-wise, they are good, just not a lot of major college prospects. Tech and ULM should be cleaning up with second-tier recruits.

LSU has done well in Shreveport and really only lost maybe 3 players from the Monroe area in 5 years -- Devall, Kenny Bell and the dickwad from West Monroe. None have done much, and the jury is still out on Devall.

....and in the last 2 years they have more losses and fewer SEC championships than LSU. LSU is ranked pre-season #1 for 2012. Don't judge the state of the programs by one game. Bama absolutely kicked LSU's arse Monday night but these programs are pretty much on the same level right now.

Disagree Bama has a dynasty getting started.
No one wants to play them.
As long as Nick Saban is there we will have to DWI.

Bama is on another level right now

and that level would be the one where you schedule as many punk teams as possible and then get a media generated second chance at the team that already beat you in your own house. seriously?

After watching the NC game i realized how lucky we were to sneak out of Tuscaloosa with a W. Monday night left no doubt that the previous meeting was a fluke and they were the better team. Better coached team for sure.

They are coming off their second NC in 3 years.
They are def. on another level. We are the only team close to them in the SEC as of now.

Anyone who believes Bama is on a different level than LSU just needs to look back at the series over the past 5 or so years. You don't lose 2 in a row when you're on "another level".

Fact of the matter is we split the series this year and next year we lose more talent than you do.

It's going to be a back and forth battle for the foreseeable future.

Currently we have an edge in stars on rivals and so far that accounts for d*ck.

You get my vote to post over anytime you want. People need to realize the sting of the loss will go away and we will be sitting nice!
