Since recruiting is mostly pay for player and transfer portal when not happy

Why do we as fans care anymore about recruiting? Why spend the money to go to games anymore?
A commitment or a flip here or there means nothing anymore.
I want LSU do well but deep down I just don’t give a damn anymore because many of the players don’t give a damn about committing and staying for LSU.
If they are just passing through for dollars then why should we get excited about possibilities in recruiting ?
It’s entertainment but the value is in steep decline

The wins and losses still count and they still give trophies for championships, but I hear what you’re saying.

Because at the end of the day, it's a major factor in whether or not your team has a chance to win a national championship or not.

The players don’t love the school like they once did
That sucks
Just watch the NFL if you love money football

Then you would see ratings and attendance drop significantly. Thus far both are at or above all time highs for the sport. No signs yet of NASCAR or boxing declines for college football.
