Very excited about this kid. He seems to have great speed, instincts and tenacity.

Good lord…he had some absolutely VICIOUS hits. I love an enforcer at the safety position. Really excited to see him suit up for House’s D.

He plays like a throw back safety. I assume some are questioning his cover skills in this age of football because the other areas of his game are 5 star worthy for a safety.
I think he could grow himself into a lber. Just have to see how he matures physically.

Exactly what I thought when I watched these highlights. I always hate comparisons, but he plays with the same tenacity as Jamal Adams in his approach.

What’s your game prediction tonight Scott?

Having watched him for his seasons at ZHS he’s definitely a stud. His coverage is ok but he gets caught ball watching and can get beat on play action (which is how West Monroe scored last year in playoffs) he’s looking to make a hit but I’m sure it can be corrected.

He's very similar to how Delpit use to play for us in his prime

Machoman would be my guess

I said 37-13 in the other thread.
Florida State didn't impress me a whole lot last week. Duquesne's defense had them dead to rights on play after play but couldn't tackle for shite, and apparently the exact same thing happened yesterday against Youngstown State.
Florida State isn't bad like they've been, but they aren't great at the line of scrimmage and they don't have much of a passing game from what I can see. I think LSU runs the ball effectively and the play action pass is a killer, and it's a comfortable win.
But what the hell do I know?

I put a little $ on LSU, but after last year’s opener I’m a little skittish.

VIOLENCE I likely, he’ll be on KO team immediately

I did not see a hint of five star. I like the way he reacted to cover the inside of the deep routes. He seemed to have good downhill and lateral pursuit. I did not see the big hits I expected from reading the first page of posts. I would not argue with four stars, but he certainly does not look like Laron or Jamaal to me.

Best safety in the class of 23 no doubt

Big game vs John Curtis last night.
Haven’t seen the stats yet but kylin stuffed the running attack with some big hits and solid play against the JC option offense
