It would have helped the number for next year if we could have signed 1-2 more. Our quality of OL signees this year was fantastic, but quantity was down. Next year theyll need a big year (5-6), with a couple of guys being capable of early PT. Hopefully they can grab a JC OL or two next year along with 2-3 high schoolers.

That depends, do you want to just throw away scholarships? We had 5 O-lineman last year.

We have a 5* OT committed
We lead for Garrett Thomas
We lead for Patrick Vahe

We have one of the best O line recruiters in the country on staff.

That was a completely idiotic statement, but the norm for CP3

We are extremely deep at G. Well enough at OT. Even with the commitment we picked up today, we should be able to bring in another 2-3 OT's without issue. Brumfield has been talked about as a potential switch candidate as well.

A little surprised they didn't take Granier with lack of numbers and extra room in class

Getting La'el to stay one more year was bigger than any lineman we could have gotten in this class.

Good, well need him next year. Our scholly numbers of OL for this year will be at 13, with 2 of those being True Freshman. In a perfect world, you want your number above 15. You lose Collins, Hoko and Porter next year, plus Vadal is draft eligble. That would put you at 9 scholly OL after next season. Thats IF they dont have a Trai Turner like defection. If they dont, then signing 4 only brings them back to 13, which is a serviceable number, but that would be with 4 True Freshman. Next year they need to sign a minimum of 5 OL with 1-2 being able to contribute early. Hopefully they can grab 1-2 JC guys.

We are going to rake in some talent next year. With Grimes on board and it being a huge need I could easily see 1 or 2 5* and a few 4* OL. I mean shite.. we already have 1 5* and 1 4* locked up basically.

We have depth, just no experience for 2015 if both Hawkins and Vadal decide to go. We probably go two more tackles and a guard or two giving us 5 for next year..
