How can you say they don't? You're assuming he's being negative and jumping on him for it but you're essentially saying the same thing. One commit is a start but we'll probably look to sign five next year, and atleast two need to be the type of guy that can contribute very early. It's not a knock on the staff, I am excited about what Grimes can do with playing time to offer, but until the LOIs are signed they DO have their work cut out for them.

No reports of contact, but all attention has been on '14 really

I only see two on the board.
Holding Collins for another year helps with that a lot - we could have taken another OL, specifically an OT (or even 2) - but I think we're okay. I think we only lost 3 scholarship players off the line, one of which was Williford who didn't play at all in 2013.
While I am concerned about, specifically tackle, numbers - I'm happy with the overall depth and the returning experience of the starters.
We look to grab a big haul of linemen, 4 to 5, for 2015.
We'll be fine.

If vermilion was the coach. Stud would have gotten a raise not sent away.

Good to know, thanks.
The consensus seems to be that we are going to need to bring in several OLinemen next year and now that we have Grimes that shouldn't be a problem.

See my post. If you lose the seniors plus possibly of Vadal and ANY attrition along the OL you are in a bad spot for numbers going into the 15 season.

There seems to be a patterned shift, numbers wise - we needed linebackers last year, so we got a bunch - we needed safeties this year, so we got a bunch, we will need a bunch of OL next year, so we look to grab a bunch.
It is a little counter-intuitive, but it appears to be working.

Collins is coming back but who is leaving early, Porter or Turner? Turner right?
