Kind of strange he would have Andrew Chatfield but not his teammate - Surtain Jr.

He already CBd Surtain to LSU. These are just his recent CBs.

Boy you Dummies are hung up on stars, that list is a solid list of players. A 3* I bet is more hungry to start than a 5*. Most 3* players are players that couldn’t make it to camps to show their talents, so they fly under the radar so to say. They only have film and recruiters going to games to evaluate them.
Most of those kids probably didn’t have the funds to go to those expensive camps. A 5* and I say most of them doesn’t have the heart and soul like a 3*
The 3* wants to show the world. So I wouldn’t be talking bout stars and talking down on the 3* guys

Im glad we are getting back to focusing on these "diamond in the rough" under evaluated Louisiana kids like Lord Saban did in the early 2000s. These kids love LA and LSU and see it as an honor to play in TS. These five star kids are looking to leave quick as possible. The fact of the matter is you put these 3 star river parish kids in states like Al, Tenn, Ky, Missiouri, etc. they would look like 5 stars. The competition that these kids are playing even just joe smoshs that won't go to college are decent athletes in Louisiana especially the river parishes.

You're correct that those dummies are hung up on stars, but let's not over generalize here. True, some guys are 3* because they don't camp as much, but some are 3*, because they don't have great work ethic (not maximizing their potential), or they are physically limited.
Conversely, some 5* are indeed 5* because of God given natural ability and they don't have to work very hard. But many 5* have great natural ability AND terrific drive and work ethic, which is what makes them 5* guys.
Just like it's insane for those star gazers to obsess about the .0100 that can separate a high 3 from a low 4, it's almost equally insane to make blanket statements that 5* guys don't have the same work ethic as 3* guys.

Well.. Let's say defense wins championships.
Who do we have on defense?
4 - 5 stars (Lawrence, Big Ed, Toliver, Jackson)
5 - 4 stars (Key, Lac, Thompson, Greedy, D. White)
2 - 3 stars (Battle and Alexander)
If we can't win it with 90 percent 4 star or better, I guess it's worth a try going the other direction........

From what source people get enough information to make predictions such as this, I haven't a clue. But, I would hope LSU's signing day class includes Terrace Marshall, Lawrence Keys and Harold Joiner. Would be great to get a few on this list as well. From what I've seen on recruiting sites, Terrace Marshall and Harold Joiner are LSU leans. I will say this, I believe this game against Bama will have a great influence on this class and next season's class. Not necessarily that LSU wins, but compete and doesn't get embarrassed. I'd imagine these recruits want to play for a NC. I'm sure they want to go to a school where the program has the potential to do that. If O and this staff successfully recruits the state of Louisiana every year, they will have the talent to compete for a NC. Add some key out-of-state players and they will win a NC, if not more. But, you got to get the best players. After the difficult times Orgeron and his family have endured during his other head coaching tenure, I really hope for his family's sake he take LSU to the top, and stay there for a few years. I really believe he deserves that level of success.

Tigers will not return to the level we all want until improvement is made at QB and in the trenches.
