247 saying the same. He's been given the "permission to contact" form.

We'd be dumb to not at least gauge interest.

I thought I also read where someone close to the program said it would negatively impact Michigan's recruiting class and cause strife with the current Michigan QBs.

What a vagabond this kid is. This'll be 6 states in 6 years?

Per Jimmy... Shea Patterson's release comes with stipulations: No SEC schools or teams on Ole Miss' schedule in next 2 years. #LSU is out

You're right, it'll give LSU an experienced QB with a rifle arm to throw at big targets that should be much improved now that they have experience. But, and you know it was coming, don't know if he's interested in LSU and vice versa, don't know if they are interested in him. Plus, the family comes with him if he does with their baggage, and will LSU run the same offense he played in at Ole Piss. Just a lot of stuff to process, so not sure he's worth the risk, but it would be fun and exciting seeing offense like that at LSU, something people haven't seen there in a long time, if ever.

Wow, Michigan automatically becomes real good if he goes there.

No SEC schools and no schools on Ole Miss's schedule for next 2 years. Michigan and FAU are both possibilities. LSU is out.

How the hell are there transfer restrictions after your school just got hit with NCAA sanctions? That doesn't make any sense, the school doesn't have a right to tell the kid where he can and can't go while they're on probabation. When did this rule change?

I have mixed feelings with LSU going after Patterson. He could well be the missing ingredient and an instant upgrade at qb. He could also upset the team chemistry applecart.

I get the part of college football about you should always have to win your job. But another part of me feels loyalty to Brennan and Narcisse for them picking LSU.

I doubt it becomes an issue, I don’t see him picking LSU anyway. I think if he was interested, it’s probably worth exploring as I think he is further along in his development than any qb on our roster.

If the NCAA grants him a waiver it doesn't matter what ole miss' stipulations are. Transfer waiver from the NCAA overrules Ole Miss'

Another drama queen. Shea should've been on the Enterouge series. Should've just went to LSU to begin with, but everything for a reason...
