I agree that recruiting services rankings are not the be all and end all...hence my own userid meaning, but surely Ray Charles wearing sunglasses on a moonless night has seen the thousands of times here that high ratings have been used to tout LSU commits. C'mon man, are they meaningless in those cases also?

Calling someone a depth player is the problem bud. You literally called Adams “just another body”

You’re inferring the kid has no chance to ever start for lsu, on one of the happiest days of that kid’s life.

Besides making you a shitty person, it also makes people realize how uniformed you are. You’re missing very serious variables in your “evaluation” including TIME. These kids haven’t even played their senior years and these rankings will change exponentially depending on development and film.

On top of that, we have just hired the best defensive staff at LSU that we’ve had in a long time. The majority of posters on this board trust their offers because they know what to look for in prospects at their position.

You tout yourself as some all knowing talent evaluator, when I guarantee you don’t know shite about what actually makes a good dline or lb prospect, besides what the rankings tell you to believe

I do like his offers (LSU, USC, TCU, Miami, Ole Miss, Oregon, A&M, and some lesser ones) but his highlights are short in duration so far and from a horrible angle and distance, not from the side along the LOS. Also, for those who put recruiting ratings as most important, he is like a medium 3*. Bottom line: I will say the same thing about DT in football as McMahon's recruiting in basketball. You need to sign a real game changing stud, not just another body.
