You could be correct. I went back and looked on 247 LSU's 2021 signing class and he is listed as a Transfer in along with Mike Jones from Clemson, Major Burns from UGA and Cage from Nicholls State. I took those 4 to be signees but I could be wrong.

They are leading now with 19 including the current highest ranked portal transfer and 7 of the top 50 transfers which LSU has none.
