I get the impression he went to a South Carolina board where the general opinion is that they have a great shot with Lattimore (and let's not kid ourselves, they do). However, after reading the quotes and finally getting to watch that video, it is foolhardy to assume he is a lock to South Carolina.

This is the only team site i go to period.I only read other team sites when they are linked to a particular dicussion from this site.I am no analyst and don't claim to talk to any recruits or even know how.i do talk to people all around the country about recruits though and the only fanbase that thinks Lattimore is not going to South Carolina is Auburn's.There are some Penn St guys that think they have a shot but that's it.Lattimore has been known to recruit players to South Carolina and has been to most of their home games and pretty much just loves the Gamecocks.You guys don't have to believe a word I say and if he doesn't go to South Carolina then I will eat every bit of crow that there is.I have no concerns about that.He is going to South Carolina.About USCe fans feeling that he is a lock,has there been anyone that Auburn fans have not said is a lock to them?It seems that most ,not all,Auburn fans hang on every word that comes out good for them but ignore when something bad is said and say that the info is biased or just plain wrong.Who do you guys think you are,Alabama?

It's tough to say, Ross. It was mentioned in another thread, and if it's true, it could be helpful to LSU, but I don't think anyone other than Born or Jen can verify anything, and their lips are probably sealed, just like DMitch last year.
