I thought they went there to actually check out USC?
Since when do recruits go to a rival team as their guest to check out the other team? No, both of these guys were visiting Oregon.

Lets see, Tebow was on the LSU sideline on a visit when we played Florida. Don't think he was there because he was seriously considering LSU.

If I am not mistaken all three of the Ducks running backs were freshmen or red shirt fresman! And they looked pretty darn good!

The state of Oregon compared to Texas and Louisiana are to completely differen stories. I think it'd take a lot for them to actually pull the trigger an go there.

I know I'll be killed for saying this, but i'm not crazy about Seastrunk. I'm totally fine with him signing with anyone outside the SEC, as long as they aren't USC.
It might be nice to see Oregon give USC some competition, year in, year out.

If he is not that good, I would hope Bama gets him....so he can beat out TR. Hell I want Bama and FL saddled with bad players.
Seriously, I dont get this. "I dont think he is that good, so it will be no big deal if we lose him........of course, we want him to play in the Big Sky"

Lamichael James and Kenjon Barnere are redshirt freshman, Crenshaw is a senior. Barner was initially recruited as a defensive back as was moved so their is room for seastrunk to play.....kelly would move him back and Barner knows it because he was taking reps with the defense after the cal game.

You never know, if he knew he was going to florida then he was just using his visits for fun. I bet he didn't go and talk with meyer after or before the game. That would be outright disrespectful.........imo.

Have any of you guys actually visited Eugene, Oregon? Nice place to visit but no way would I want to live there....cold, overcast and damp pretty much all the time and has a very hippy like culture (complete with lots of people with dreads looking homeless but that's just their look). The "talent" isnt' deep on that campus. I think Seastrunk and Reed both pick some place else - hopefully LSU - but then again, I'm no recruiting expert.
I agree, the only major plus that Oregon has going for itself is that it's Nike University
