i think this board majorly overrates his quickness to be honest

he doesn't have to be a quick guy or anything

he's really explosive straightline and one of the fastest HS football players i've ever seen, but he's not a real juker or COD guy

I think you underrate his quickness. Watch some of the Combine stuff on him, he has great quickness. And if you look hard in his videos, you can see it as well. But a lot of the reason Seastrunk is rated #2 in the country is that he has looked so good at combines the last two years, where he has looked quicker than even guys like Christine Michael.

in all of his video he really never has to used lateral quickness because he blows by everyone and beats everyone to the spot 95% of the time

again, he's as good of a RB prospect as you'll find ..he's got the whole package

actually i should reword that...i think he'd be a good RB in college, because he could still run by a lot of people. If he wants to develop into a Chris Johnson or a Joe Addai or a Felix Jones or a slender type RB that are good NFL RB's, then i think he needs to become more physical. Otherwise, he could have a Bush-like rude awakening when he hits the league.

otherwise i think playing a Harvin type role would overall make his whole career more successful(CFB, NFL).

Keep in mind Harvin ran the ball A LOT, plus caught a lot of passes, and prob would have been a high 1st round pick had he not had character problems.

DJ Morgan may be faster, but Seastrunk is also about 15 lbs bigger than him.

So Morgan is actually the type of player this thread would make more sense on.

If Josh Reed (listed at 5'11", 197 as a freshman) had been a little bit better as the RB we recruited him as, then he never would have been a Biletnikoff winner and a high second-round draft pick.

yeah, his burst and acceleration are what makes him play so fast ..that's all that matters anyway once you get to 4.5 or sub 4.5
