If he plays football his scholarship will count against the football limit.

Not on that level to play DB in sec but he can really fly in the 400 and 200. He could run for any program in the country

If I understand this right, if he were to come to LSU on the track scholarship and wanted to also play football, the way that I think this would work would be that he would try out for the football team, and if the staff likes him, they might give him one of those last-minute scholarships that they sometimes have to give to walk-ons when someone gets kicked off the team or unexpectedly fails his classes.
If there were to end up being a scholarship available, Burrell looks like a guy who could definitely contribute on special teams.
But, in that situation, he'd have to be willing to just run track at LSU if we ended up without a scholarship for him.
Does anyone know his feelings about the two sports and which or both he wants to play at the next level?

I’ve been wondering why he hasn’t committed. I’m assuming grades were the issue, because his times are incredible. I didn’t realize we hadn’t even offered him yet
LSU should give an update on the recruiting classes. Sounds like we have a lot of nice pieces but the class still isn’t final. We’ve had a lot of nice luck in the transfer market lately too (Kibet came out of nowhere)
