Had a class with Chad Lavalais, Marcus Spears, and the late great Marquis Hill! I'm friends with Marcus Randall. And one time a tall, skinny (160lbs) Laron Landry ask me for a dollar outside of a Wendy's drivethru when he was freshman.

Also met Justin Vincent at fan day 2003 when I took my cousin. I told him once they let you start once. you'll never sit and be an All-American. Well, at least he won a national title that year.

Ran into Russell Shepherd, Reuben Randle, Chris Davenport, and Morris Claiborne at the mall back in the day and chatted briefly. Not big news but I wanted to say....yes, one of those is not like the others.

I had a class with Patrick Peterson at Huey P Long. We sat outside on the bricks and BS'd a bit. I was wearing a USMC t-shirt. He thanked me for my service. That was cool. We mainly talked about that and his car being stolen.

Kyle Williams was a friend of my brother's in high school at Ruston. He came over to the house frequently. We cooked deer chili one night, and he ate about half the pot! He was a good kid with a great head on his shoulders. Definitely not the type to party hard and get into trouble like I was.

I also went to Pep Levingston's draft party. He's good friends with my sister's family. He didn't get drafted, but it was cool to be there when the Seahawks called him to sign him as a free agent.

I met Josh Booty when he appeared as a guest on Louisiana Football Magazine the TV show. He was working for a supplements/fitness products company. He might have been an owner. I don't remember. Anyway, he was one of the nicest guys I remember meeting.

I sat near Jarrett Lee in a class. Talked to him a couple of times. Nice kid. I remember one day some other dude was talking trash about him throwing interceptions. The idiot didn't even realize J-Lee was in our class and must've heard every word he was saying! I was impressed with how much Jarrett just ignored it like he wasn't there. Later on somebody told that dude that Lee was sitting right there. The guy felt like a douche afterwards.
