quote:

LB Antoine Sampah- Sampah had a game high nine tackles and was all over the field. It wasn’t even the numbers, it was the way he flashed to the football. He caused a late fumble that led to the game winning touchdown and looked like the most athletic player on the field. The LSU signee will need some time in the weight room to add some good weight and strength but he showed he can definitely play at a high level

This is HUGE! Can you imagine having Boutte and Sampah in the same class? Both were Alpha Dogs, albeit at different bowls!

Also in attendance were the following-

1. Rakim Jarrett
2. Demond Demas
3. Justin Flowe
4. Prince Dorbah
5. Noah Sewell
6. Reggie Grimes
7. Chris Tyree
8. Myles Murao
9. Bijan Robinson
10. Chad Lindberg
11. Jalen Berger

glad to see. Seems some of our recruits are way under rated.

Is Sewell ok? I saw him go down and it looked like an ACL.

Yes, he did leave the field. Not sure about the injury though.

247 regressed him because he was injured. They did that to Kardell as well. Kardell was ranked # 315 overall in their final ranking. I say that is BS. Now, just because Kardell did not play for most of his senior year because of an injury does not mean he should be ranked lower. But this is how 247 works..

It’s like they think they don’t do anything. Sampah tore his ACL. Completely sucks. He can still work on his upper body. Especially since he’s a mike his ability to diagnose plays (Call Out to the rest of the Defense, It’s a QB run, Inside Slant ETC) he’d be watching film and improving every day. He’s recovered now so he’s back.

I think Sampah and Josh White by the time they are sophomores will be 2 top LBs in SEC. I enjoyed the film on both those young men!

He will be starting early next year. He’s a damn thumper whoever we hire at DC and LB will have a lot of talent at that position and with edge rushers. Most will be going but all should be talented enough for us to improve from last season greatly. It’s finally that time we’ve all been waiting for. We lose one of the best draft eligible classes ever including seniors but this is where all this hard work finally pays of LSU is about to replace every one of those positions with some talented hungry sobs. All wanting to be better than last year! That’s the standard now in BR and from recruits I mean I wish we had 35 spots lol we’d be loadedddddd with how many highly rated guys wanted to be In BR next year. LSU football is still comin stronger than ever

I agree.
Said in another thread by year 2 Josh white will be a beast

Sampah is a no brainer.
Especially with losing both inside backers.

Most definitely! There was a reason Clemson was going hard after him. So glad he signed with the real tigahs.

By chance did any of you see the video of Demas on Twitter dunking on the goal posts? I saw it last week, but cant find it now. He leaped over three upright standing players who were lined up and then dunked. It was an insane example of athletic ability.

Demas might be the best WR in the class.

I posted a message re Sampah a while back. Sampah has me giddy that we will not miss a beat with Queen gone. I think he plays this year and a lot!!!
