They played South Plaquemines in the semi-finals last year. By the way he's a good kid with no family support whatsoever, so that's probably why he did not attend any camps. I believe he has the tools to play D-1 ball if he gets a chance.

No need for me to get in a war of words on a computer, but just stayed tuned and keep watching Cedric Skinner.

Spoke to a pretty reliable source from Oberlin, and he stated that BYU wanted him to go and visit. He also spoke highly of Skinner. Utah was also mentioned. Not sure if m buddy was confused or not on that one. He's a very good back though.

ALL im sayin is I've watched the Kid play.
NOT a big time D-1 ATH.

There schedule is weak.

one or two teams above 500.

he's a really good back dont get me wrong, but he's not gonna make big time ball.

he could possible play for teams like ULL, ULM schools on that level of D-1.

Jaylafa...a bit of insight for ya bro. If their schedule is so weak, why are they #3 in power ratings right now. They also said Ridley was not a big time D-1 ath also. I saw the kid play too, gets most of his yards between the tackles. Big man behind the computer, have you seen him work in the weight room? Have you seen him do things to help is mom out? I don't think so!

If you know the coaching staff well, you would know he will be projected as a athelete on the defensive side of the ball. Ask Pat, he's my neighbor. About the area, I've bled on most of the football fields in the area. I know Oberlin is weak on the defensive side of the ball due to youth on the team, but that should not take away from the athelete Skinner is. Where are you from by the way.

Ever heard of Hoyle Granger? He came from Oberlin in the early 60s. Went to Miss St., then to old AFL for the houston Oilers I think.he played a few years there.

All I know is this, he measures out with any 5 star running back..(4.4 40, 5'11" 195, bench over 300 (reps 275)and close to a 500 lb squat. He is gonna break Fords SWLA rushing record running between the tackles, and the easy schedule you talk about was not good for him only playing in 4 complete games getting pulled at the half in the rest...What ever school gets him will be lucky to have such a hard working young man...

And if he would've done that at a camp he'd be highly recruited. He didn't, so he's not.
