I have no hard evidence on this. However I did predict Chad Morris to Auburn over a week before it happened. Got ridiculed on the coaching changes board for that. I have no idea any of the specifics on it. Just take this with a grain of salt. However my source is usually pretty good. Not sure he will ever see the field. But getting a high 4 star QB to add to the team is NEVER a bad thing.

Edit: 247 Link Here's his 247 profile for anyone who is unfamiliar. He did have some bad things to say out of highschool about LSU because of Brandon Harris. But forgive and forget

yeah I remember but that didn't really get any traction... I'm willing to go all Voltigers on yall and say it's 100%...

And if I'm wrong expect a long petty post telling you guys to stop being mean to me and that I'm done posting!!!

Wasn’t this guy like 4th string at TCU?

yeah I'm not saying the guy is a superstar. But he was highly touted out of high school. Maybe he's a late bloomer... If anything it's more competition. and he's good buddies with Terrace. Maybe he just wants to move back to his home state and get in a new environment. I know he had a bad injury in high school. Maybe he never fully healed.

Didn’t Justin Rogers suffer a serious knee injury that he never quite came back right from?

He’s gonna walk on. Doubt he ever sees the field.

yeah. pretty brutal injury in Highschool. Not very good for a dual threat guy. I say let him come in and be a good locker room guy. Maybe a little competition. Who knows maybe he's walking on and using tops. may had to do with him not getting any good opportunities.

edit: also I must say that anything other than him coming here is COMPLETE speculation from me

Injury link

here's the video link for anyone interested in his injury... it was BAD. easy to see why he didn't quite make it in high school. GRAPHIC WARNING.

edit: Man it is REALLY awesome to see Terrace Marshall at the ending of the video walking with him talking to him and making him feel better. great fricking player and teammate we got there.

One interesting thought is that if he walks on for a year, he can get a scholarship that does not count against the 25 if he earns it. Given the way that quarterbacks transfer these days, this could be a great backup plan in case of injuries in the future.
Look at Kentucky this year using a WR at QB because of injuries!

Didn’t he have nerve damage from the injury and couldn’t feel his leg? He was highly sought after. Good get to get him as a walk on. Worst case he gives Terrace a moral boost from being around.

Great to get a guy of this caliber to walk on. Second part is just bullshite speculation. Top 50 guy we're talking about.

Well here we go! Next someone will say he heard he has an attitude problem. He’s inaccurate. He can’t read defenses. So forth and so on.

The kid had a serious leg injury is the reason he had to redshirt last year. He was not fully recovered at the beginning of this year. He states he is now fully recovered.

“He hasn’t played in over two years!”

He’s got nerve damage in his foot, maybe with LSU trainers they can rehab him back to normal or close to it.
