I'm confident that even if we were to lose a talent like his, which I certainly hope we won't, that we have PLENTY of talent in our wide receiving corps to make up for it.

Im sure LSU would be fine...yet you have never seen the kid in person. Best WR to come out of LA in probably 15 years...and yes Books, hes better than Clayton at this age.

Lets hope he doesn't make a official on their campus because hes going to fall in love with the SOCAL life

IMO:

I think this is one of the biggest misconceptions about USC...they're right next to Inglewood! Now if you're after the SOCAL life, you should go to UCLA - they're in Bel-Air.

But still, I think Los Angeles is the most over-rated place in the world. If those people ever made it to Florida, they would flip out. The only thing nice about LA is the weather. Even Malibu isn't that great - just nice views.

Beaches are not as nice as Florida's but there is alot more to LA than the beaches especially if you lived in Louisiana your whole life.

The thing I hope this kid thinks about is playing on Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium. If he's only thinking about the other 40 something Saturdays then we might be in trouble.

Yep, Tigerrag editor...

Ask Matt if he thinks Jarret Lee is still going to be a failure at LSU who will never make an impact

To the point at hand, the general feeling RR is that he will attend LSU, but is really considering Bama and Miss. State (no, really..MSU).

Just curious...how is this different from the McKnight situation? Not being a smartass, but I wasn't that into it when the McKnight shite went down.

It seems like losing another top LA player to USC would be a similar situation, no? What makes us think that he doesn't keep quiet until NSD and then go to USC?

I think USC needs depth at wideout too, while LSU is pretty stacked.
----------------
Um, no, they don't. They have 5 stars that can't get on the field. Damian Williams just transferred there and he's their 4th or 5th option at this point. Brice Butler and DJ Shoemate, the freshmen from last class, won't see the field.

Split End
PATRICK TURNER OR David Ausberry
Garrett Green
Brandon Carswell
Scott Stephens* OR Duron Sylvester OR Spencer Vigoren
Jonathan DeAmaral

Flanker
VIDAL HAZELTON
Damian Williams
Ronald Johnson
Travon Patterson
Sean Calcagnie*
Preston Cavignac OR Drew Ness
(Brice Butler) OR (D.J. Shoemate)

McKnight never came out and said anything about LSU. He was going around the superdome at the state championship chanting "**** LSU". In the meat market book, he was calling Coach Porter a "fake" and what not.

Randle is staying quiet, but that doesnt mean he has anything to hide or any negativity. He knows the LSU campus and will be here this summer for sure. If he goes and sees USC, etc right now, it might be his only time to get to go out to SoCal.

And, last, it is his process. If he doesnt know where he wants to go, then he should just keep things within the family and decide on the best decision for himself. I think he will end up at LSU, but if he does not, it won't spurn as in the fashion that McKnight did with words and actions.

Just my opinion.

Earlier you claimed to be dating a girl who's mom is RR's God-mother, now you're a close relative of his?

I read it that way too at first Books, but I think he's saying he's having "intercourse" with a close relative of RR, not that he is a fricking close relative. At least I think. Either that or he is a close relative who is also fricking RR.
