1. Everyone does some form of the Tiger Walk it isn't anything special.

2. Your fans do not come close to tailgating as well. They don't get out as early overall and definitely don't cook as well. This is really not debatable as this is a consensus around the conference. LSU is the best Tailgaiting period.

3. Our band kicks your band's arse. Y'all have too much piped in music and all of ours come basically from the band.

4. The Pre game events in the stadium are very comparable. Mike and Tiger/Spirit are two of the coolest things in college sport. LSU's band pushes us over the top though in regards to pre-game.

5. A game in Death Valley has constantly been picked as one of the best Home Fields in college football. The stadium size is roughly the same also.

I give you props for maintaining your fanhood, but Auburn just really doesn't compare to LSU on gameday.

1. Everyone does some form of the Tiger Walk it isn't anything special. - Not true. AU started the Tiger Walk in the 1960's. It BLEW up in the late 80's. When did LSU start their's and when was the first time (if ever) 20k+ showed up? AU has had 20k+ since the late 80's for big games.

2. Your fans do not come close to tailgating as well. They don't get out as early overall and definitely don't cook as well. This is really not debatable as this is a consensus around the conference. LSU is the best Tailgaiting period. - I gave you LSU for tailgaiting. AU fans do get there early though. Maybe earlier than LSU fans. AU fans roll in with RV's as early as Tuesday on IB weekend.

3. Our band kicks your band's arse. Y'all have too much piped in music and all of ours come basically from the band. - I gave LSU the band.

4. The Pre game events in the stadium are very comparable. Mike and Tiger/Spirit are two of the coolest things in college sport. LSU's band pushes us over the top though in regards to pre-game. - These are close.

5. A game in Death Valley has constantly been picked as one of the best Home Fields in college football. The stadium size is roughly the same also. - I gave stadium size a push, LSU is a bit bigger. But for noise, I will maintain AU is louder. Also, LSU was better than AU last decade, but AU has a very impressive night game record for a while now at JH

All in all, saying AU does not compare is really really ridiculous. Trust me a recruit gets to see it for themselves, so nothing anyone says here will form any opinion for them as far as gameday. They see it first hand and judge for themselves. Again, I say advantage AU.

And again, you fail. You have demonstrated repeatedly you are a full on hater of all things LSU.

I get that you're butt-hurt that LSU has won three in a row and dominates the series between the two schools. I get the fact that you hate the fact that LSU's endowment...even in Louisiana's tough economic times...dwarfs Auburn's. I get it that you hate hearing how people compare Auburn fans to Texas Aggies fans. Unfavorably.

Your degree of penis envy has been noted. You're dismissed.

Dude people talk about LSU game-day at Oregon, Iowa and California. We are better , at least perceptibly, in the eyes of the media who report it or the eyes of the folks who come here to enjoy it.

Having said that ,you may be the most agreeable poster, AU might really be the best place BUT for frick's SAKE this is the recruiting board - the only refuge for pure positivity about LSU.

Go take this comparison shite to other boards (even if it is a bit misguided and you may get shot down more over there).

Your post is not worthy of a response. You can try again later, but I doubt you will do any better.

Ok. I will. Out of respect for this particular board, even though I was just yapped at by someone that could not show the same respect I have in this thread with rational discussion (ie, ridiculous flame meant to incite).

You're not even #1 in your own state because Auburn fans blow in the state of Alabama compared to Bama fans. Go look at sales at Bama Fever. If Auburn is winning, sales are up for Auburn gear. If Auburn is losing, they don't sell anything with Auburn on it. As far as Bama's sales go, they're strong whether they're winning or losing. The sad part about that is it's in Auburn's backyard down in Dothan.

As far as the Auburn vs. LSU Game Day experience, I've been to both and LSU hands Auburn its ace on a silver platter. A bird flying around the stadium isn't shite.

We're the "REAL" Tigers and you're just the wannabe Tigers. History proves it!

I can't recall a single member of the national media ever remarking about the greatness of the atmosphere of an Auburn game.

Oregon. Plenty.
VTech. Tons.
The Swamp. All the time.
The Big House. Oh yeah.
The Shoe. Of course.
Tennessee. You betcha.

Auburn. Not one damn time.

Honestly you guys on this thread are kinda pathetic. I really hope Robinson reads this thread. I have been logical in my analysis and fair. Robinson and any other recruit have their own experiences to draw from (at AU and LSU). When or if he actually reads this thread, I can only figure he will shake his head at the LSU fans that have posted some really silly stuff, and maybe feel sorry for you guys. That would be better than laughing I suppose.

The thing you Auburn fans are not taking into consideration is Louisiana people. Tailgating is a mixture of Cajuns, Country southern, Cerole, and many other Nationality that make it unque in all of College.

Auburn has a great atmosphere but it will not every compare with LSU. The differances at LSU is what makes it great, you either love it, make fun of it, or hate it, but its one of a kind. Auburn is great, but its a dime a dozen.

Forgive the spelling its early.

It happens quite often actually

Hell, didn't Fowler and Herbstreit do an article like two weeks ago saying Auburn might have the best gameday atmosphere in the conference?

Plus, I think he just took his official to LSU and was in AU the weekend before. Gameday atmosphere has to favor AU.

He's been to dozen games at LSU. Pretty sure he's seen that the game-day atmosphere in BR is second-to-none even when some fans are idiots. I've been to games in Auburn and there's a few rejects at those games also.

You AU guys are drinking some serious kool aid.

It comes down to this: your gameday atmosphere will never, ever equal that of LSU.

Because you have a cookie cutter southern culture that could be anywhere below the Mason Dixon line. And your cuisine is nothing unique.

Auburn could just as well be located in east Mississippi, west Georgia (as it is often called), northern Florida, or southern Tennessee.

Face it, you can get fried chicken, grilled hamburgers, or BBQ in any southern state in the SEC or ACC.

Well you can get all those things here, too. But in addition you can opt to actually eat the best food in the south, or anywhere in the country.

Louisiana cooking is revered everywhere, and rightfully so.

We win. But thanks for playing! We have lovely parting gifts for you.

Didn't you say that LSUs gameday couldn't compare to Auburns? Get outta here. Robinson will see all he needs to see when LSU beats Auburn for the 4th consecutive time
