He shredded Parkview's defense last year
Didn't Parkview win?

I saw that game.
Walker shredded them.
Parkview won State last year in 3A.
They had a very strong D.
Walker ran AT WILL.
Everytime he touched the ball we all held our breaths.
He got hurt before halftime or it would have just been ridiculous.
This guy CAN play at the next level.
I suggest he get his butt on a plane to a Big 12 school where his size and style of running would be appreciated. His style would be great at CU where he could hook up with Hawk and Celestine.

Yes walker will light up the score board and stat sheets when facing anybody on the mamou schedule. And yes even defending state champion parkview baptist as he did last year in one half of football.....WOW....If not for cramping up the 2nd half he would have got 400 yards are better.

what happened to the guy from Mamou that went to Texas A&M? He isn't on their roster anymore. I think he was a linebacker.

Rob didn't get hurt in the Parkview game, he was cramping up in the 3rd quarter. He is also not 165 gained 10 lbs in the summer working out faithfully.
He has one offer so far and thats UNC, but at least 5 other D-1 schools are very interested. Don't be surprised to see him in Lafayette next year.

I would like to reply on what someone from parkview baptist had to say about our restrooms, running back, and use showing class....First of all us people from mamou are hard working people and our apologies if our restrooms didn't meet yall awesome standards.Second of all the parkview baptist football team did hold our running back in robert walker to minimum yardage the first half. But I guess when you can recruit your football players from all around louisiana you can hold any running back in a less classfication than your own to that kinda yardage. But wait you guys from parkview baptist whatn't talking all that trash when robert walker rushed for 281 yards in the second quarter alone and a 95 yard kickoff return for a td and if not cramping up the second half he would have did alot more. But that's what happens when us public schools can't afford to by our football players anything they want to get better as a football player. And last you people from parkview baptist say us people from mamou don't have class why because we don't have the type of money you guys have and that we don't drive the fancy cars you drive or maybe it's because our bathrooms don't meet your standards whatever it is with yall people us mamou people work hard for our money it's not giving to us by our late grandparents or because of what people we know.Rest assure if we recruited our players we would have fake trophy's in our hallways to.MHS DEMONS FAN 4 LIFE........

Robert Walker is a great elusive back, who last year Parkview had a lot of trouble containing. This year was a different story. The kid had -16 yards rushing at half and if not for a 70 yard run late in the 4th qtr against the young guys, he would not have had much production. The young man is a great back with some wiggle in him and he should be a good back for McNeese, Northwestern, Latech or ULL.
I thought the atmosphere and restrooms were fine, the people of Mamou were gracious hosts and our whole group had a blast. Now I know the Mamou folks were upset about the score, but it is hard to argue that Parkview did not do everything possible to hold the score down. Parkview could have literally scored 100.
By the way that is not a fake trophy in Parkview's trophy case, it is real, and was hard earned.
Good Luck to Mamou.

Wow.....you literally just proved everyone who said anything negative about Mamou right.
Who actually said something negative?
I went to Parkview and I can definitely say that we don't recruit anyone. How can you say they recruit players? How many "freak" athletes do they have on their team? Last year they ran two tight ends with two fullbacks and a running back nearly every play and won a state title by just out working people. I know my senior year (graduated in 04), we had an OL come to LSU, an OL go to UL,and a LBer go to UL and that's it. So if we recruit so many people then why aren't we littered with D-1 prospects? Parkview is starting to spit out an offensive lineman a year, but it's because they are great kids with great work ethic. it's really pretty dumb if you look at Parkview's team to assume they recruit.
Oh, and just because MOST people at Parkview have some type of wealth, doesn't mean they didn't work hard or even harder for their money. And many people at Parkview are middle class people who don't want to send their kids to a public school in BR.

Yeah, his post was pretty painful to read. He should have followed the old saying, better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
Also, anyone who thinks Parkview recruits is ignorant and envious. For the record I have no association with PBS in anyway.
