you have some high ceiling guys that are very athletic on your list, the Coleman thing may hurt but everyone understands there...The one thing about my team that I really like is my Dline and potential front 7 if Im able to get that last piece

What do ya'll think of this? Honestly and Obviously I have not put as much time into film as I would have liked. I've just been too busy with school to spend hours but I have been thoughtful and tried to act on instinct and certain characteristics (Haden because of the bloodlines, Rodgers because of his father being a coach, Gray because Iowa always has good backers).
I sort of changed my drafting strategy half-way through. We'll see how it goes. I started out picking guys that I liked and would want on my team but then shifted a bit to guys that I think would give me solid points (and still guys that I liked). But I took the point possiblities into greater consideration in case we keep these teams on file and come up with a points system (which I think we should).

After triple and quadruple-checking the spreadsheets, Team Dro selects Giovanni Di Poalo, OL
(Nobody take my next pick either)

Damn, good pick. That's probably who I should have taken last pick.

That was my next guy had he made it back. He may move inside, but nice pick nonetheless.

Good pick Dro, I was going to make him a guard if he came back around.
I think my underlying strategy was to look at the schools with the best depth chart for early playing time but with schools or systems that get enough pub to have an All American or to get awards. ie. McVey at MLB from tOSU. My only concern is Dorsey at Texas because of the depth chart. Everyone else should get PT based on previous recruiting classes.

I definitely wanted Di Poalo at guard. To be honest, in my drunken stupor last night, I forgot about him

Wow, he was a popular fella!
I was going to use him to fill my last guard spot. Almost took him this time around but discussing Gray with you Dan made me nervous. I think he could be a points monster at Iowa so I didn't want to miss out on him.

2 No-No's that I have learned the hard way:
Drunken facebooking and Drunken Fantasy drafting. They usually end poorly.

Hey Suntiger, this should fit.
Your picks are real good.
Offense and Defense blend well.
Very balanced team.
P.S.: Refrigerator!

I think I am the only one who was not looking at him for my last guard spot. Oh well.
Cest la vie.

I select Sean Mannion QB Oregon State.
Mannion is a tall guy at 6'6, which is pretty necessary because my entire line so far is made up of mammoths. Seems like he would fit well in my offense. Pound the ball and use a lot of play action. Mannion has a decent arm and is very accurate especially on intermediate throws and screens.

He was also my next pick.
I think this may be the steal of this round.

Jarrett fobbs cb this is my team and that's where I want him.
Nick montana qb not very much in front of him very good coach and the pedigree. My running game will take pressure off of him.
