Why did Javonta drop from a 5 star to a 4? Because all these so called experts on these recruiting services don't know shite about what they are doing.

He was, but he committed to lsu, not Georgia or Ohio state or bama. Seems like they get bumped up a star when committ to those schools

The guys that runs 247 use to own rivals they sold to the guys that's running it now... But forgot to sign a non compete clause

None in my opinion actually evaluate players. They call Saban and ask who he is recruiting and his opinion of players. He gives them 4's and 5's if he knows they are going to Bama. Eventually those real 4'a and 5's read that and want to be part of that.

If you want to go back a little bit, you could add Justin Maclin and Frank Heron as big name, hyped Tennessee prospects that never seemed to live up to their billing.
