The Tigers made a splash with four-star OT Zaden Krempin during the first official visit weekend of the summer and closed the gap significantly with the Longhorns at the top of this recruitment.
I've moved my FutureCast over to LSU for the Rivals250 OL from Prosper (Texas) after the Tigers' surge with Krempin over the weekend.
2. Emanuel Tucker to Ole Miss

Hours after officially visiting Ole Miss, four-star in-state OT Emanuel Tucker reopened his recruitment. Tucker heads to LSU this weekend and is still in line to see Mississippi State on June 20, but this will boil down to the Rebels and Tigers for the Rivals250 OL.
My prediction is sitting on Ole Miss, which moved the needle in a big way with the touted OL and his family in Oxford last weekend.
3. JaReylan McCoy to Florida
JAREYLAN MCCOY

It's a two-team race at the top for Rivals250 DE JaReylan McCoy, who returned to the Swamp for an official visit last weekend and told Rivals he wished it could have lasted even longer.
Florida is battling Texas head to head in this one, and we logged a prediction for Billy Napier and the Gators with the touted DL target.
McCoy will reveal his decision on July 1.

Want all three, but Krempin the most.

The portal brings instate guys home all the time, so missing a homegrown talent out of high school isn't that big of a deal these days. Let Texas or Florida pay for their maturation, and we'll get guys back focused on football.

Tucker just got fongd to LSU

I thought fong had his prediction in for him already.
I think simmons' prediction is new.
Tucker just looks like a mean arse tackle.

We passed on Berrymon months ago. Not gonna get into the agrees or disagrees about whether it was the right move. Different staffs have different wants and qualities they look for. Apparently we prefer others over Berrymon and aren't looking for a class as big as Texas' at DT. They have real depth issues beyond the mercenaries. Purdue was the spot until Texas decided they'd take him. Think he was a Bo Davis guy and now that he's gone we can say that Davis is a bit lazy on the trail. Great teacher, strong evaluator of his types and an average recruiter. He belongs in the NFL.
Hayward is the one they've stolen so far.
We still have to wait out the Texas $ push with Krempin.
Tucker appears to be ours but it's as telling he decommittted following an OM visit as it Keys signing an Addidas deal after visiting an Addidas school and before visiting another. Read into that what you can.
McCoy is a true NIL recruitment and not worth what he'll get. People are more in love with his frame than his skill and production. He's also bound to have more drama before December. Wouldn't stress over him.

I told everyone back in January or March he wasn't coming and they thought I was just talking out my neck

The four-star offensive tackle from New Albany, Miss., decommitted from Mississippi State earlier this month and has since visited Ole Miss and LSU in recent weeks.
“Everything” stood out about his weekend visit to LSU and he “loved every bit of it” as the Tigers have emerged as the new front-runner even though Oxford is less than an hour from his hometown.
