I remember when Skip B was quoted in '03 as saying that he knew that LSU had turned the corner as a program for the reg season Geo game. He said something like when Geo scored late in the 4th, he would have expected the crowd to settle down a hair and expect to lose which was the norm for a decade or so but instead of getting bummed, the entire crowd (capacity) joined in for a very impressive "LSU! LSU! LSU!" chant that lasted more than a full minute and seriously pumped up the players.
The rest is history. The tigers drove down the field on a bulldog defense that looked to be on their heels for the only time all season. The final play was a pass to Skyler Green for 6 pts and the win while the crowd erupted in Death Valley style.
As for Les' character compared to Saban's.. It's always been like night and day. Nick is an insecure little prick who would get his arse whipped regularly if he wasn't the boss.
