The pain of LSU not competing today.. The pain of seeing Mizzou there and Auburn leading after two

They only gave her a 9.9125. Drew got higher than that. WTH! She got robbed!

I am much more impressed with Utah and OU than any of the teams in the evening session so far.

But in the end all that counts is what you do in the finals.

Also earlier I saw Jordan sitting with Val and Kyla and I know Val is no longer at ucla but to me that is such a bad look for Jordan and arkansas. Doesn’t she have athletes she should be with?

Morrison for Michigan was really really bad for Michigan today. Didn't break a 9.800 on vault or floor, then leads off beam with a disastrous set.

I know! Kiya's was better and it was a double! Congrats to Mizzou this year, but I really hope we beat the snot out of them next year!

I thought 9.9125 was a fair score, but Drew shouldn't have gotten scored as high as she did.

Interesting take aways from Day 1 of nationals. Defending Champs Michigan counting falls and finishing last place. That’s why I always say it’s whoever is on that night. How Bev interviewed about her team gives me the biggest gripe about Jay and his approach. She congratulated the other teams said we picked a day to be bad, and we lost our edge waiting for bars and then falling. No excuses just black and white. Have to give it up for Auburn, Missouri, and Minnesota. Highest placements ever. Oklahoma was the cleanest today but I still think if they all hit it’s Florida’s. For Trinity to finally win some titles has been a long time coming. Scores were fairly even across both sessions but I do think event finals should be a possibility. The format should be Wednesday, Friday team finals and Saturday individual finals. Even though this is college and based on team , gymnastics is a different sport and it’s not fair to have titles up for grabs with not all competitors on the floor at the same time. There has been no stopping Trinity this season and her accomplishments have been well deserved. Kiya’s vault was underscored imo. I hope our coaches get a fire under them to assess where we went wrong and make the necessary adjustments for next season. Parity is so strong these days and we have to give our athletes, the university and fans the hope to be in contention every year for that natty.

@lauraGB - I wish I could upvote your post 1000 times. I hope we absolutely murder Missouri next year. I feel the same way about it as I did about beating texas a & m in football after that 7 OT debacle in 2018

Is there any talk or rumors floating around about coaching changes? Specifically at Georgia?

LINK / Transparency as a coach. They may have been our nemesis for years but she has a formula and it works year in and year out. A good interview from Ou coach KJ Kindler. We have a lot of work to do especially when OU joins the SEC.

Scott Woodard has opened the check book up for all his hires at least doubling their pay, why not to KJ. Instant title contender.
