Mizzou is actually a much improved team this year. Brought in a very stellar freshman class.

Bama with six 10.0 SV vaults. Went for broke and got a 49.5.

I know I am broken record around here - but we have GOT to have a massively strong showing tomorrow. I am just not sure if we are there yet.

Michigan with a 198.525. Did anyone see the meet?

Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Auburn all have hit 197s. No excuses tomorrow not to

We will hit 197 tomorrow. We basically played like shite against UGA and almost got it

I think we hit it tomorrow, especially getting Kiya on floor and Haleigh more involved. But even with these two in the AA, the others around them will have to step up to deliver some better scores to start hitting mid to high 197's

How would y'all feel about Sophia Butler joining the team? Heard some stuff....

Exactly this - the middle part of the lineup cannot be lackluster which has been the case, especially on floor (and beam). The landings absolutely must be there on bars, not to mention vault. Even still, it doesn’t really appear that this team, as of yet, has the juice to compete with the top 3 or so this year - unless Michigan, Utah, and Florida are truly peaking too early.

As for butler, I like her floor, I’d be ok with it. My guess is they are running into a problem with scholarships at Florida…

I think it’s gonna take an average of 49.55 - 49.60 on each event to win the title this year. That’s a much of 9.9+ scores that’s gotta come from someone other than Kiya and Haleigh. Gonna be tough.

Is SB still committed to Florida?

How healthy is SB? Always down for more commits especially with a lot graduating this year. At least 4 FL seniors have said they want to come back next year so yes seems like they might not be able to sign all the high school seniors this year…I think it’s just DiCello so far

No

She had surgery this past year, there was chatter she may walk on. Has been to LSU this fall but I think still in contact with other schools. Haven't seen her compete in a while though

She was fairly healthy a year or so ago - whenever they had that friendly cross-country mag/wag meet. If she is perpetually injured, though, then I would vote no.

Kathy Johnson Clarke said Utah has the “Myia Hambrick” effect on floor. Loved it. I miss Myia sooooo much!

Even UCLA has managed to go high-mid 197. If we can’t put a huge number tomorrow, we will be very steadily outpaced.

Very suspect scores with this meet. Thought scores were very inflated. Did anyone else see this meet? Would like another opinion; can be seen on replay on espn3

Seems like all the home scores are inflated this year and for some teams (Fla) inflated everywhere. I like that elites and Olympians are coming to college but it for sure is having an effect on the scoring these days.

Seems like that every year for top teams. I didn’t think Jordan (leaps) or grace (feet) deserved 10s but they were very good routines.

Lol. I would downvote this except that scrubs is one of my all time favorite shows. I am hopeful that we see a whole new team today and that I no longer have to sweat the small stuff regarding our scores.
