They just sent this in an email

UCLA Fans,

In accordance with the decision released today by UCLA, attendance at all UCLA Athletics home events will be completely spectator-free, effective immediately through at least April 10.

I guess we wait and see if the other regional sites do the same?

The SEC is monitoring the situation as well.

Sounds like the SEC Using common sense precautions and trying to be proactive as opposed to panicking and reactionary

does anyone know if there is a chance we'll see kai rivers back in the beam lineup?

I doubt it. It looks like at one point DD was planning on having Alyona in the final beam lineup, but now it seems she’s going to stick with the more experienced lineup of Desiderio, Dean, Durante, Edney (if healthy), Johnson, and Campbell.

NCAA just announced no spectators at Championship events. Unclear at the moment how this affects gymnastics.

They are refunding NCAA tickets for gymnastics now, per the balance beam situation

Anyone know if LSU is considering no fans for Friday's meet?

Its going to be interesting to see how they handle refunds, etc with all athletic events being handled this way moving forward.

Now I just wonder if I could get any money back from Delta. I can cancel my hotel Room in Duluth, but I know I'm gonna have trouble with Delta getting my flight credited

Wait....I thought it was just no spectators, now it’s completely cancelled?!?!

Per twitter all SEC meets canceled thru March 30th at least. My heart goes out to the athletes who I’m guessing will still have to train without knowing if the season will continue.

Other conferences appear to be doing the same.

This is a blessing in disguise.

They are locked into a top 8 seed for Regionals now. They can rest and heal up some injuries. They can go into Regionals (assuming it is held and the season isn’t totally canceled) as healthy as they have been all year and healthier than they would have been without this happening. Gives them their best shot to make Nationals.

I feel bad for the seniors who don’t get a proper send off.

And if the season is cancelled outright, I hope they do it quickly so that these girls can quit training on such injured bodies. Hopefully next season will be a very different one to start compared to this year.

I wouldn't necessarily be surprised if they just call the whole thing and award OK the championship based on RQS. It would be a real shame - especially for FL who was looking so good this year and like they could really challenge OK. But based on the last day or so, it seems like a real possibility to me - who knows though.
