I agree with you 100%. Now is not the time to lose focus. We (the gymternet) can handle the judges. The over scoring seems to be gaining some traction. I've seen a lot of posts complaining about OU since Friday...so people are well aware.

Also, it's highly likely that Georgia will pass LSU in the rankings after Friday. Georgia and Alabama are apart of the Metroplex Challenge with OU and Denver. Scores tend to be extremely high at this meet. I expect all four schools to count a high road score. OU will probably score 198+ and the other three schools will probably be in the mid 197s. LSU needs at least a mid 197 score to stay ahead of Georgia. Hopefully they can get it done.

I am less worried about us winning this weekend or the score. I would just like to see is hit 24 routines. If we do this the score should work itself out. I would especially like to see this at a place like Florida where it should be high pressure.

I hope we give Liv good choreography next year.

Her Arenas and Bryant are going to be big time.

Hoping they give Liv choreography close to Sarah Finnegan or Shae Zamardi. She has so much power but her skills are performed with so much grace.

I am hoping to see improvement on all four events. I don't expect LSU to win tomorrow, but I hope they can score a 197+. We really need a good score for NQS.

I don't want to catastrophize just yet, but we need to start getting some scores so we can ensure, at least, the night session at SECs. If the way Arkansas scored at home is any indication, Jordyn brought UCLA overscoring to Arkansas. We have time, but, ideally, we won't want to count any of the scores we have now for RQS purposes, so we need to start making a push for higher scores.

1. I'd love to see Rau hit vault;
2. I'd love to see Edwards hit floor;
3. I'd love to see Kai hit bars;

Absolutely the best bar routine Harrold has done and gets a 9.975 for it. Scoring will go out of control and i expect Florida to win but LSU needs to hit and take advantage of this scoring for a huge road score.

Kiya got her first 10!

Great meet for LSU. Wishing Edwards a speedy recovery.

I’m so worried about Edwards. That looked like an Achilles injury.

On the other hand. Scoring is so out of control in Florida that Kiya gets her first career 10 on....beam.

Yeah that’s what I thought. So gutted for her. Hard to replace an athlete like Sarah, especially on vault.

And yes the scoring was out of control. But at least it was in our favor this time for once.

Kai May be under pressure to upgrade and Rau will need to step up. This isn’t detrimental but vault is certainly an event where we don’t have much to pull from.

Rau was limited this fall. She needs more time. LSU needs Ryan in on vault. She was top 4 at JO's on vault last year. A clean full from her should score well. I actually predicted her to be in this lineup come post season. She is good here. I don't know the full extent of her health right now.

If Kai continues to stick her full, not sure its worth the risk right now to an uncontrolled 10.0 vault. Keep in mind Kai still is trying to heal her ankle. We need to be smart here..

Ryan’s arm is still in a brace. Not sure if she’s been practicing vault yet. May have to go back to Nibbs.

Also, kudos to LSU for finally putting together a complete meet.

Alyona started vaulting a lot more this past week.

We may see Alyona on vault by the end of the year but we will have to make due with what we have now. Desiderio was training vault but she is injured. Durante is training vault too.

I'm optimistic that it might not be Sarah's achilles at least, she tried to continue and do her leaps, with an achilles injury i doubt she'd even be able to push off the floor.

Ruby and Kai both had great meets, they could be doing a lot of the heavy lifting for us as the season goes on.

I agree we’ve got to be smart at this point. Kiya is still nursing an Achilles injury/flare up. Kai is still hurt. I say don’t push for upgrades from anyone at this point.

Also, it was a good idea to remove the punch front from Kiya’s beam routine. It flowed much better tonight.
